Hotel Angostura has a gorgeous view of the Lake from the lawn and dining room. It is also well-located within easy walking distance to the Port area. The Port area has restaurants, crafts, and walking entrance to the Parque de los Arrayanes as well as the ticket offices and embarkation piers for the boats to the Bosque de los Arrayanes.... More

All about location. The hotel and rooms feel old and reminded me of grandmas house, but the views from hotel, location and dinner are all excellent! Short walk to the lake and hiking trails at Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes. Nice staff as well.

I liked this hotel despite some little details. The location is awesome! A mile and 1/2 from the town's main road. The view is great and is a very peaceful area. There are NO TVs in the rooms. It's an old building and I think it needs some updating. The breakfast is poor. Overall, the location , view and cleanliness... More

It was an ok hotel. We were a group of 31 cyclists and commenting on the food is probably unfair although it was ok. The room had a wonderful view but the shower and toilet was dripping and noises. My room mate had to call in the manager at midnight as she couldn't sleep for the noise of the bad... More

The Angostura hotel is a Nice avarage hotel, historic, in a beautiful place in Villa La Angostura. The rooms are old but ok, the baths are the worse part of the hotel, to small, old and noisy...the best part is the view! The people at the hotel are very friendly and helpful...the restaurant is not the best but still good,... More

We stated in in delightful old hotel - another Bustillo work. It has a wonderful location, right on the water and well away from the traffic hassles in Villa La Angostura. Our major issue was a 1am phone call from the staff to check whether we had filled in our registration card! We had, and if not I am sure... More

I stayed here for just one night as part of a large group on a charity cycling trip. We cycled here from Bariloche and were very pleasantly surprised to find a delightful garden with an incredible view of the lake. It was perfect for relaxing with a cold beer after a long day in the saddle. I shared a room... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location, with a great view over the lake and the national park. BUT the rooms are very small and floors and stairs and passageways are very creaky old timbers. It was not clear how one could escape from the upper floor in the event of a fire. Breakfast very limited. Not good... More

The hotel overlooks a quiet bay and the national park. Highly recommended as a place to stay away from the bariloche area. It is charming and quiet with clean and basic rooms. It is about 4km from the town of villa le angostura so a car in our opinion is really required. We paid 390 pesos for a double room... More

We went to Argentina for 3 weeks for our honeymoon early 2009 -- we had an amazing time...the country is beautiful, the people are incredibly friendly , the food is out of this world..and it was a vacation we will never forget. We had a rental car (very important if you're staying at Hotel Angostura since it's a few miles... More
