We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group through Patagonia. Because of this, I can't comment on the cost but the accomodations were very good. The hotel is situated one block off the main street through San Martin. The lobby was nicely done and good to relax in or to use the complimentary internet at their lobby... more

Le Chatelet is rated as 4 star hotel and is given good recommendations in guide books. It is also priced as a 4 star hotel - $117USD. It is not worth it. The hotel is well maintained and clean, but sadly outdated. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. The beds a bit saggy and it had the skimpiest breakfast... more

I am from Chile and I visited San Martin de los Andes last weekend. We decided to stay at a 4 stars hotel, Le Chatelet, because these were our vacations during the summer.
