This comfortable and cute hosteria was a pleasure. Comfortable, warm and a fabulous breakfast including home made banana and coconut bread.

Hosteria Las Lucarnas is a great and comfortable place to rest in the charming San Martin de los Andes. The beds are super comfy and the place is very well located.

Because of the recommendations on Tripadvisor and Lonelyplanet, we decided to stay in the Hosteria Las Lucarnas for two nights. The hosteria was ok and we enjoyed our stay, but the hosteria is rated too high. Our room was very small and needs to be renovated - as we paid very little for the two nights, it was ok though... We loved our time at Las Lucarnas and in San Martin/surrounding area. The Hosteria is well located and neat as a pin. The rooms are small but well appointed and super cosy. What really makes this a truly wonderful place though is Maria and Luciana. Maria's homemade bread (banana, apple) and other homemade breakfast treats (scones! bread for toast!) are... More

One of the prominent guidebooks has described the rooms here as 'spacious,' but I can't imagine why, unless the very high, vaulted wooden ceilings give the impression of space to this reviewer. There is in truth not a lot of room for your cases, etc., in these rooms--which are all the same, by the way, except that those upstairs overlook... More

Really friendly and helpful staff - when we arrived at Las Lucarnas I found a birthday present on my bed, Lucas had remembered from when I booked months before. This was the opening of a really great couple of days in San Martin. The hosteria is ideally placed in the centre of town. The room, though cosy, was a pretty... More

The rooms are cozy and comfortable with beamed ceilings at a very reasonable price. Lucas and Vero try very hard to please their guest. The reservation process via email was very prompt and they have a nice website. The walls are thin so ear plugs are recommended for light sleepers. The hotel is well placed being a half block from... We drove up to this little hotel and luckily there was a room available. The rooms are small and the bathroom is a bit dated, but it is cosy, spotless and the bed is very comfortable. Nice breakfast and a helpful owner, who wants his guests to have the best possible stay.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at las lucarnas and we had a wonderful time. We're travelling for 6 month all over South America and this was one of our favourite hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpul, the breakfast plentiful and the rooms nice and quiet. We can recommend it to anyone travelling the lake district in... More
