My wife and I spent 8 nights at del Nomade in March 2015. It is an outstanding, but basic hotel. The rooms do not have central heating and A/C, phones or TV sets. However they are large, spotlessly clean, and functional. The lighting is adequate, and there are plenty of electrical outlets for charging your devices. The continental breakfasts are... More

First things first: Puerto Piramides is a small and beautiful gem (at least out of season), worth spending a few nights here instead of Puerto Madryn. Within the small, hippy and fascinating Piramides, Hostaria del nomade is probably the place to be: a modern, clean, bright, small hotel with new furniture, space, good rooms with cozy bathrooms and a lovely... If you are interested in staying more than a night or two on the Peninsula Valdes - which one really should do in order to take in the full experience of the biodiversity of this Patagonian region - this small well-run hotel is the right place to stay. There are several interesting and very different hikes nearby and the more... More

The hotel is comfortable, breakfast is very good, location is great for whales, sea lions, etc., but what sets this place apart from anywhere else are the women that run the place. They could not be friendlier, more helpful, more knowledgeable, or more efficient. And they really care about your enjoyment of your vacation. They helped us with directions, booking... More

On the positives, Puerto Piramides is well placed if, like us, you want to spend four days really exploring Peninsula Valdes since it saves you the long and tedious drive to and from Puerto Madryn. But the thing about this place that really sets it apart are the staff. They're both friendly and efficient. They also helped us after we'd... More

This hostel had many National Geographic magazines in Spanish and English, many books to borrow (in Spanish and English), home made cookies to take away, homemade soap in our rooms, solar panels on the roof, Eco friendly cleaning products and one of the most delicious breakfasts we have had in Argentina (including bread, yogurt, jam, dulce de leche, many varieties... Finally a hotel that doesn't spray offensive chemicals in the rooms! I was giving up. Clean, roomy, simple but modern rooms. Comfy beds. But what makes this place special is the sweet girls who work there. Completely entertaining my kids and making sure we had rooms together, which was a huge feat in many hotels. Nice breakfast with eggs if... More

This hosteria is really recommended when visiting Puerto Pirámides. The girls owning the hostel are very friendly and helpfull. Nice and spacious rooms with very comfortable beds and a little private terrace. Especially the breakfast was outstanding for Argentine standards. Yoghurt, home made bread and sweets, fresh orange juice and good coffee; the perfect of the day. We were recommended... More

Puerto Piramides is a very small town. There aren't a lot of options. This is a great one. The rooms are spacious, simple but super clean. They're also nice and warm even though they weren't heated. The girls are super helpful and helped us arrange the whale watching tours. The 3 different girls we had for our 3 nights were... More

We, a family of four, booked two rooms for three days, not knowing what to expect from a very small town in winter. It turned out to be the most pleasant stay of our three weeks in Argentina. The hotel definitely is nicer than what the photographs show. Rather boring on the pictures, but the friendliness of the people and... More
