Gualicho is a typical hostel providing all the features that a backpacker needs - kitchen, common place, salon, tv, computer, games, dvd, locker, wifi etc. We have booked a double room with private bath for 3 nights. First we got the room which seemed very basic and old on the ground floor but the heating was not working so they... More

A really great deal for your miney. I stayed in a private room, which was HUGE! The common areas are very big, and the kitchen is very nice. It tends to be also very quiet (anyways it was when we went). Right next door there is an empanada house, that makes also great sandwiches de miga.

We've been advised to stay at this place by people we had met on the bus on our way from Buenos Aires. They told us it was clean, bright, and very friendly. And they were right. The place is prtty big and has a nice garden with hammocks, dormitories (ours had 6 beds), private rooms and many bathrooms.a big kitchen,(with only two... More

Best hostel I have stayed at so far in SA. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the whole place is spotless. The rooms are spacious with good security, breakfast is great and it is in the perfect position. Loved this place! Ps. One of the front desk guys is really cute too

The location is perfect, just a bit out of the centre, but close to everything; beach, shops, centre. The staff is very friendly and can also help you out with booking trips etc. Also good prices they have there, ideal so you don't have to shop around down town. Also loved the garden with hammocks. The only not so great... More

This is a big hostel and a very good one at that. Here's why: Pros *Just the friendliest staff I've had all through Argentina. *Good location, three blocks from the sea front. *Excursions & other hostels can be booked from here. *Plenty of room (126). *Very modern. *Very clean. *Always had plenty of room. *Good kitchen facilities. *Comfortable lounge. *wifi... Ticks all the boxes, but hasn't quite got a vibe yet. It's more of a hotel really. Still, it is extremely clean and well run. The staff are friendly, location is good. It's just not much fun from a backpackers point of view.

We had a private room at this spotlessly clean hostel, which was spacious with a safe, TV and good shower. The wifi worked really well, perhaps because our room was pretty much above the reception. The reception staff are very helpful and can book trips for you via what seems to be their own tour service. Be prepared, the trips... More

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: This hostel is BIG and probably the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. The cleaners work really hard to keep the place gleaming. Theres a lovely relaxing area with bean bags and a sofa etc. STAFF: Such a great bunch of guys, especially Ale. They gave great information and we went on a day trip to see... More
