This hostel has perfect location (right next to the beach, but still central), friendly staff, and clean rooms. We were 6 girls on a trip to Puerto Madryn, and really were not disappointed with this hostel, especially as the two guys at the reception gave us great advice in terms of what to see, what to do, where to eat,... Nice location in almost center of the beach, 20-30 minutes walk from the bus station. Very good personal, helped us very much and answered a lot of questions about Puerto Madryn. We stayed in the matrimonial with shared bathroom, everything was clean. If prices would be little bit lower - it's will be 5 out of 5. In overall very... More

Very nice hostel! Super location, just 100 m from the beach and 5 min to the city center. Awesome owner and staff, all really helpful and friendly! All the hostel is really clean and the common area perfect to get to know new people. I had a health problem and Gaby helped me to find the right way to solve... More

We stayed 7 nights at this hostel. It was a really nice, calm family run hostel. The owner helped us with booking some nice tours and was very helpful. He even baked good pizzas one night for everyone who wanted to participate. Besides of the really nice people that own this place it had three other big pro's. It was... More

Gaby and Maru are very friendly and always provide you with all the information you need, without beeing pushy. They organise you all the trips around the area. Everything is well organised. The hostel is located perfectly in the center right next to the beach. Rooms are basic but always clean. Breakfast was definetely one of the better ones during... More

I only stayed 1 night in Chepatagonia Hostel because I was in Puerto Madryn / Peninsula Valdes on a short visit (1 night in Puerto Madryn, 2 nights in Peninsula Valdes). Had a very nice experience with Maru & Gabriel, the owners of the hostel - I was very lucky to get in on a day when they were hosting... More

Like at home or in your family. Hostel with a human size, kitchen and rooms really clean. View on the sea from the kitchen. Everything you wish to find in a haostel is there. Also close to all the facilities, only 15 minutes walk from the bus station.

After an exchange of emails I made a reservation to stay in this hostel a month before my date of arrival and Maru from the hostel confirmed it. I was offered tranfers from the airport or tours, but at that time I didn’t want to book anything yet as I was shopping around for good deals as prices of tours... More

We had 2 Nights at chepatagonia. It is clean, nice, centric and the straff is very very kind. We also rented bicycles here. The Hostel offers several Tours and activities and the breakfast is included. You can use the Kitchen to even cook Your own Food.

We came without a big clue to Madryn. Arriving at Chepatagonia (looks like reservations are mandatory) and talking to the very friendly owners help us tremendously to get an orientation with all the great sights and wildlife the area offers. Quite a few families are here, it looks like that this hostel fits pretty good for them (as I am... More
