Hosteria is like a home from home. The breakfasts were excellent, ample helpings and very tasty! The bedrooms were spotless, roomy and I slept like a top. The Hosteria is situated on the outskirts of the town but within easy walking distance. more

What a pleasure to spend 3 nights in this amazing Bed & Breakfast. Our hosts were extremely accomodating in either English or Spanish. We felt welcome, secure, and well cared for. It was more like being welcomed into the home of friends. Fresh fruits and homemade breads were highlights of breakfast. Our privacy was respected, but we were very well... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hosteria Canela B&B for one night during a 5 day tour of Northern Patagonia. The rate was the most reasonable of any of the places we stayed, the breakfast was the best (lots of variety), and the host, Jorge, was incredibly gracious. Specifically, Jorge was able to able to suggest (in perfect English)... more

After traveling through Argentina by car for 5 months, our stay at Canela proved to be one of the most positive experiences of the journey. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and rather than describe our stay in many sentences we'll use facts: Probably the most comfortable beds in Argentina, and that is sometimes an issue.... more

Our hosts made all 8 of us feel very welcome. The hosteria is surrounded by beautiful gardens making the setting very peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts were so knowledgable about the area that there was no need to visit the tourist office in town. We spent two memorable nights at this lovely location. We were treated to delicious breakfasts and... more

We stayed at Canela for 5 nights and it was fantastic! This was our first stop in Patagonia and we were treated to a beautiful room, sparkling clean bathroom, and more delicious breakfast than we could eat! But much more importantly, our hosts were born and raised in Patagonia and will share their stories and histories if you want to... more

After spending close to three weeks at several beautiful hosterias and hotels from San Martin de los Andes to El Bolson, we were ready to get home. What we found in Esquel at Hosteria Canela was a home away from home. We had a lovely room with an entrance at the side of the house, complete in every regard including... more

The Canela is a B & B (approx 120 pesos) situated about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Esquel, amongst a variety of cabañas and residential homes. You can easily walk into town, or take a taxi. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner Veronica, who is a lovely and bubbly lady, who pretty much makes your... more
