My review is divided to pros and cons. Unfortunately I think the cons rather outweigh the pros. I'll start with the pros: The hotel is well located, close to the central square of the city. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. They were not stingy with bath amenities like soap, lotion and shampoo. Although putting an extra roll... More

The hotel itself is in a great location in downtown Salta. It's safe and walking distance to nice restaurants and Plaza 9 de Julio. For some weird reason, they don't have a doorman, which is odd for a 5 star hotel. It's nice to ask for directions but when you need help, you have to go to the front desk.... More

Dear sir/ Madam disappointed with our stay at this hotel last week. When we arrived we were given a room that was already occupied, which was somewhat embarrassing! We were kept waiting in the corridor for about ten minutes when this basic error was rectified. We had particularly chosen this hotel in order to have the internet as my husband... More

I guess if one is in Salta on business, it is not so bad, however nothing could make up for the dirty carpet, dusty drapes and well used furniture. What is a TV remote without the back that has been patched with tape? Oh well....this hotel is long past its prime and living on its laurels. My suggestion if you... More

Although not a 5 star to U.S. standards, I really enjoyed staying at the Alejandro. The service was absolutely wonderful, so friendly from the front desk to the restaurant, to the gym and the housekeeping staff. The location is also convenient because it is just a few blocks from the main square. Beautiful views of the Andes to top it... More

Feels like home from home, service is a little slow at the restaurant but food is gorgeous. Room is great but no tea/coffee service in room. Maid often forgets to change towels. Swimming pool is very nice with a separate jacuzzi. All extremely warm in tru Argentinian style. Pilates room serves cookies and coffee... The hotel has a 5pm tea service... More

Excellent service, spacious rooms and the best location. Breakfast is very good, with several options of fruits, pastry, marmalades, ham, cheese, eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cereal, Orange juice, etc. I just wish they'd change the room's floor carpeting. It's dirty and old.

Nice hotel located in a very convenient are of the city. It is close to the main park, nice restaurants, and almost next door to a very funny and traditional "pena" which is a restaurant that has affordable dinner and entertainment for all family members late at night. The hotel was remodeled and is very comfortable. Internet connection is very... More

Located in a pretty square the hotel has lovely bedrooms and a glass elevator to take you there. There's marble everywhere and a very good gym. The breakfast has a fine selection but that's where the hotel looks tatty. There have been obvious repairs to the carpet and the restaurant could do with a good scrub and is in need... More

I was not so happy when i arrived since we couldn't parc the car in front, since i am handicapped that was a problem. The bed was too high but to my surprise it was changed in no time to a smaller one.. i was complaining before in other hotels but this was the first one that really cared and... More
