We loved Bloomers bed and breakfast, especially the breakfast part! The suites were comfortable, clean and felt very private, and even though all the rooms were booked out every night, we were not aware of excess noise or even of anyone else around us. It made our stay in Salta one of the highlights of our trip to Argentina. The... more
If you find yourself in Salta, Argentina, I would without hesitation strongly recommend making reservations at Bloomer's B&B. This very charming hotel, a short walk from the downtown plaza, has been outfitted and decorated with nothing short of exquisite taste by the very attractive and hospitable husband and wife team, Adrian and Sybil, who put the 5 room place together... more
Beautiful place, well-decorated, peaceful atmosphere. The people there are really nice and helpful... would definitely recommend to stay there! more
We stayed one night at Bloomers on two different occasions while out in Salta region. We were quite pleased with each room we stayed in -- the decor was modern and tasteful, while the rooms were spacious. Our only complaint was that one of the bathrooms was a little small, but the shower itself was very spacious and we had... more
What´s with the raves for this place? I´ve found tripadvisor extremely helpful in planning my current trip in Buenos Aires and Salta, with writeups pretty much spot on. But after two weeks of travel in Argentina, this was by far the worst--and indeed the only less than positive--experience. While the proprietress is indeed very warm and welcoming, the proprietor emphatically... more
I stayed here for 3 nights in March and was very happy with the experience. My room had great character. While there was no a/c, a ceiling fan provided plenty of cooling. The breakfasts were amazing, probably the best I've had in 2+ weeks so far in Argentina. The hosts were very friendly and provided great tips for places to... more
We have been resisting to incorporate more technology at Bloomers. The reason for this is our environmental conscious: the advance of techonolgy demands more and more energy every day and at the same time it requires large amounts of metals, minerals and oil derivatives, all non renewable natural resources coming from highly contaminating mining/oil extraction.... We understand there are compromises...
We stayed at Bloomers for a week in November. Ours was one of the rooms on the street at the front. Though the large window looked directly onto the sidewalk, large panes of glass prevented our room from receiving any street noise. This small B&B has a homey atmosphere and fabulous food. No place we stayed in Argentina after Bloomers... more
I have stayed at Bloomers before and this stay was the best. My room was spotless and nicely decorated. The owners, Adrian and Sybill, were charming and helpful with restaurants, sightseeing and general logistics. The other guests were fun to meet for brunch and we hung out together in our travels. A great find! KEN MURRAY more
What a wonderful little hotel! The owners, Sybil and Adrian, could not be more accomodating and welcoming. The hotel itself is lovely, the accomodations very comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. Our stay was wonderful in every way. more
