Although it was cheap, it was of all the hostels I took in Latin America by far the worst one. We had a room for two persons that you can compare with a prison cell (and I do not exaggerate), with gum and nasty stains in the sheets. The toilets were gross (including feces) and during the night you couldn´t... More

We got this hostel through the previous hostel we stayed in so thought it would be fine. The positive thing was that it was only €10 per person per night for a twin room. However our room was not only very tiny, the sheets were paper thin, the blanket on our bed had several gum stains and the walls looked... More

If you want a party hostel- this is it. The common room/ kitchen is huge, but in the middle of the place. People rumble around at all hours of the night, smoking and drinking, music is loud and people are friendly but party heavily. Bathrooms with showers, hot water, fairly clean, a safe bet if the guy comes up to... More

We took the offer from a guy at the bus station who paid for the taxi to the hostel. Well, it was just one night - a night without sleep. They have lots of rooms and bathrooms (great plus), but they are all centralized around the common room with the kitchen. The staff doesnt care if the music and/or the... More

This is another party hostel. After 18 hours on a bus all we wanted was some sleep, this wasn't going to happen noise loud music, table football outside our cupboard until 0500. The room was not big enough to fit two back packs down the side of the bed. And was dirty we stayed until we could get out, as... More

Music playing LOUD until 2am and our room was next to the common area. When we mentioned it the next morning, we were told we were lying. A German couple complained aswell, and they were also told they were lying. However, they insisted they were only going to pay half price, and in the end the owner agreed, but we... More

Go around the corner to Hostal Salta Por Siempre on Tucuman 464 and gladly pay the 10 extra peso for space and aircon. The guy hard sell at the bus station is obviously too good so he overcrowd the place too much.

Stayed here for two nights. The room we got was a basic double without a bathroom. But since there are 8 bathrooms all over the place, you wont be shy for a place to take a shower. The hostel is fairly clean and had a nice kitchen/tv area where you can watch dvd's or play some playstation. Our room was... More

It's one of the cheapest places in town (45 Arg Peso per person for a double, shared bathroom) and in contrast to other reviews the place was actually quite tidy (including the bathrooms). There is a kitchen/living room area with a large TV, and also some open space with table tennis and table football. Three PCs and wifi included. Sounds... More

I was there for one night with 3 other friends. When we got there, the room wasn't ready. We had to wait for 2 hours and decided to leave our stuff in the room which wasn't cleaned yet. When we got back, my boyfriends shoes were missing. We found them in the cleaning ladies' room. I then forgot my bag... More
