We had a lovely stay at Casa de Borgona. It is only a few blocks from the main square, a Carrefour supermarket around the corner as well as cafes, doctors and pharmacies etc so it's really well situated. We had a lovely big double room with nice big double bed and a private bathroom (which had two showers and toilets... More

All in all, it was a very good experience. I enjoyed the small town atmosphere you can breathe from the moment you step in through their small "confitería" where guests and outside clients can have simple yet tasty breakfast options. I came in early so they took my luggage and allowed me to take the room a little earlier than... More

My room flooded after some rain so did my suitcase. My camera got damaged. They changed my room with a small room with no wifi. AND they sold the previous floaded room to someone else knowing that it would rain the following day. AVOID

This place is very well located, three blocks away from the central 9 de Julio park. The people at the reception desk are really nice, always willing to solve problems. The room was spacious and the mattresses were good. When we got there it was cold and the air conditioning was not working. They immediately offered us an electric heater.... More

Stayed for 10 days at the casa del borgona. The location is 5 minutes walk to the main plaza, the rooms are clean, comfortable and simple. I became ill during my stay and the staff were so accommodating and helpful, I cannot praise them enough. If you are looking for a clean, simple, centrally located hostel with helpful staff then... Casa de borgona is a simple hotel in a very convenient location with very friendly and helpful staff. There is a nice garden and sitting room with couches and a TV. At the front there is a small coffee shop with great empanadas that is open all day. Some of the rooms are quite dark. Number 7 looks over the... More

The house is huge and beautiful, with a lovely garden and spacious living room and in an excellent location. It is also connected to a cafe and kiosko, so breakfast, snacks, bottled water, etc. are on hand. Toast and pastries are served every morning and the staff, particularly Sebastian at the front desk, are so kind and helpful and truly... More

Located just a short five minute walk from the Plaza Principal, the Casa de Borgona provides clean, efficient accommodations suitable for a modest travel budget. The multi-lingual gay-friendly staff are extremely helpful and knowlegeable of the local community and surrounding mountains. The ( chilean, forgot his name) guy at the frontdesk was super friendly and helpfull! The rooms are super big and very clean. The overall posada was quite charming but simple, place has good vibes. The main square, bars and restaurants are within walking distance!

The main guy working there was great. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Overall, we really liked this place and actually rebooked for our return to Salta. The breakfast is served in the back garden which is a nice touch indeed.
