We stayed a week here whilst exploring the Andes around Salta. This is a small but nicely presented hotel and has a great location a couple of blocks from the main square, and easy walking distance from everywhere else, including the bus station. Our standard ensuite room was large and comfortable with fridge, wifi and aircon. There was a computer... More

The hotel is located very central, which is good. Furniture and rooms have seen better days, which is not so good. Interior is very antique and heavy. Of course this is to each traveller personal taste but I hate it. The mattresses on the beds are unfortunately past their expiration date as well and should be exchanged. Rooms are somber... More

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and requests multiple times, a hearty and varied breakfast is included every morning, the hotel and our room was picturesque and well kept, and the hotel is located one block from San Francisco and a couple blocks from the central square, it is an all around good deal!

It is tasty good little hotel with wooden floor. The shower was ok with hot and cold water. and room was nice bit a little bit noisy and small. The breakfast, yes, they need to improve. Overall we are glad to stay there. The stuff was kind and English speaking

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Posada del Angel. It is a quaint little guesthouses only 2 blocks from the main square. Although it's in the heart of the town, it's totally quiet during the night and day. The owners and staff were extremely accommodating to us during our entire stay. From letting us check in 2 hours earlier when... More

We have been travelling round South America for six weeks now and this has been the best place we have stayed in. In an unpretentious way it's one of the best places we've ever stayed. The lounge and patio are a delight. The receptionists are kind, smiley and genuine. The room has period furniture but still manages to be cosy.... More

Not worth the value. You can find similar hotels with much better service and facilities. Salta has a million choices and this place is simply not worth it. Breakfast was included in the price: watery coffee, boring pieces of bread and fruit that either came of a can or to disguise age was covered with syrup. Their wi-fi connection worked... More

A small, clean and cozy hotel, with friendly and helpful staff and a good location, a few blocks from the main square. My room on the ground floor was comfortable and lovely, with internet wi fi access. There is also a PC for common use in the hotel. Breakfast was OK, but no big choices there. This is definitely an... More

Initial email contact had all the signals of an attentive, well-run run hotel, matched by the reality when we got there. The owners, Veronica and Jeronimo - with first rate English (and patience with Spanish learners!) and other staff were excellent in terms of advice and help on Salta and the surrounding area on all the big things and detail... We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The owners are also working there, so it is like a hostal. Advantages: The hotel has a great location (just 5min walking to the main square). The room are very clean, the breakfast are good and the stuff are very friendly. The staff speaks very good english. They help to rent a car... More
