A nice, cozy hostel, with a terras, a garden and two computers for internet. The guys that run it are very nice and helpful, they also regulary organize bbq's with great food and wine. Many guests return here. Things to do in and around Salta: horsebackriding, museum, visit the Yungas in the Caliligua national park, the salt planes and the... More

I stayed here for a few nights in a shared dorm. The bedroom had lockers but all of the doors were broken leaving no secure place to keep belongings. The beds and bathrooms were worn out and in need of updating. The garden patio is lovely and a nice place to relax, but it overlooks the dorms - if you... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff was friendly, the location near the bus station was good and there was a nice garden area out back. However, the indoor common room was really smoky and our upstairs double room was really musty. The shared bathroom was kind of grungy too. The double room with private bathroom, which was off... We stayed here only for one night in double room with private bathroom for 120 Arg Pesos. When we walked into the room, the room had not been cleaned from the guests before. The toilet fell apart as well. The breakfast was normal for a hostal in Argentina. Instant coffee and some cereal. The next night we stayed in Residencial... More

This place is clean and conveniently located a few blocks from the bus station. Backyard patio is nice and relaxing. Staff was polite but not friendly. I paid 35 pesos for a dorm- which i think is a pretty good value.

Incredible this hostel, is like the owner and staff always trying to make the place confortable and funny. They made barbecues and all kind of natural actions so as to uniify the guests as if we were a family, so after some days there is like a real family of guests staff owners hahaha it was very funny

I stayed at Inti Huasi on three occasions, staying in and coming and going from Salta. The staff members were absolutely excellent and deserve 6 stars out of 5, as does the asado (not just meat, but all sorts of grilled vegetables and salad and wine), which they supposedly hold Wednesdays and Sundays but really only hold on these days... I stayed a few nights in the Inti Huasi hostel when travelling in Argentina and loved it. Staff was very friendly, when we arrived it was their bbq day and we had lots of food and wine (for free!!!!), the hostel is clean and although it is no luxe, the quality and service for the price are excellent. It has... More

Intihuasi was a wonderful experience for myself and 20 year old son. Intihuasi means the ¨¨house of the sun¨¨ in Quechia. This hostels name reflects its true identy. The staff are very warm the hostel clean, welcoming and comfortable. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel that this is your home away from home. They want you... More
