We stayed in total 6 nights at this beatifull place. It is located at San Lorenzo, a small village just next to Salta. The bus stop is 100m from the B&B, so getting to Salta is very easy (the owners can lend you a bus card). The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. We had our best matresses in... More

Stayed at Casa Hernandez recently for three nights with my boyfriend and had the most relaxing and comfortable stay. I can't say enough good things about Rjike and Alex's bnb! During our first night Rjike sat with us for about an hour and discussed recommendations for Salta, San Lorenzo and the rest of our time in Argentina. The pizza place... More

It was with some trepidation, after we were picked up by Alex, out host, at the airport, and drove off into what seemed to be a leafy suburb where Salta folk retire to after having lived the life in town, that we arrived in San Lorenzo! How wrong! And what a great choice of location, B&B, and hosts, to be... More

It's quirky rooms, splendid en suite bathroom, glorious gardens and the friendly, helpful, charming hosts. Highly recommended. It's not in central Salta but in the lovely superb of... More

Breakfast is delious and their house is just perfect! Beautifully decorated, clean and a huge garden to enjoy the peacefulness or asado's... More

We first stayed at Casa Hernandez in 2008 not long after it first opened. We had been travelling for almost a year and it was great to stay in a place that was a home from home. At the time, we were considering setting up a B&B ourselves and were searching for a suitable property. I remember thinking at the... More

It's what you expect from a good B&B, but with that extra personal touch that makes it more than just your average place to stay. For example: Alex and Rijkje celibrated the coming of spring with their guests, by buying some drinks and having a lovely chat in the garden. If you're visiting Salta and its surroundings, make this your... More

We loved our stay at Casa Hernandez. Alex and Rejkje are such caring hosts, very personable and so helpful in getting us familiar with the area and suggesting adventures for our stay, as well as places to eat, how to get around - basically everything. The house is nestled in the small town of San Lorenzo which is about a... More

Important: it is not possible to book a room at Casa Hernandez via one of the booking sites. You can find them at www.lacasahernandez.com.ar. Alex & Rykje were born to run a guesthouse!
