This has to be one of the best places I've stayed in. It is a little trek from the bus station but it is definitely worth it. The room was very well maintained with fruit and water provided and there was tea and cake in the common area. The hosts are very helpful and even offered us dinner (the lentil... More

Patio Alto is one of our favorite places that we have stayed at in South America. We stayed in Tilcara several days and were able to check out some other similar hotels, and Patio Alto was easily the best. It is well located, tranquil and quiet, a short walk up the hill from the main plaza. The rooms and common... More

We arrived at Patio Alto quite late and were too tired to go out on the town to look for somewhere to eat. Pat the owner of Patio Alto organized a light meal for us that was excellent. We were only there the one night and found it very friendly. The hotel is right at the top of the town... More

This was a great choice (based on previous Tripadvisor reviews). Pat the Manager was extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and organized. We parked the car and walked everywhere...if you wanted to take a taxi, ten pesos got you home. Highly recommended. The breakfast was the usual Argentinian selection of pastries and sweet cereals and could use some protein...we were... More

We stayed here for two nights through a deal on Booking.com, and it was by far the nicest place we have stayed in a long time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the room was gorgeous (got the best sleep I've had in awhile!), the grounds perfect, and the breakfast delicious. They had multiple types of homemade bread every morning!... More

Patio Alto felt like a second home to us. We were treated in a very personal way. Pat (the host) took time to receive us, had a tea with us, showed us around and gave us tips. It was like arriving to the house of an aunt who was very happy to see us again. We could notice that Patio... More

Patio Alto is a special place. Located at the edge of town you are surrounded by great views and beautiful sky. The rooms are stunning, and the made to order breakfasts are terrific. However what makes this place really special is the staff. Pat is super interesting, smart and generous. She and the rest of the staff will go out... More

We booked a night at Patio Alto having seen the great reviews on Trip Advisor and Booking.com and I'm glad to say our experience was the same. The hotel has been really nicely designed and is a really tranquil spot where you could relax for a week quite happily. The room was exceptionally clean, really nicely desgined, with a huge... More

I go to Jujuy, to be more exact, to La Quebrada de Humahuaca once a year. Last time, I found an excellent place to stay at Patio Alto. It surprised me. The place has two options to stay: cozy private rooms or shared rooms. I stayed in a shared room, but there was no one else because it was low... More
