I just stayed at this hotel on a business trip. I felt like I was in a post apocalyptic movie! Yes it was summer, but the bar was closed, the restaurant was dead, the pool was empty and it all started there. I am a frequent Marriot guest, but this was nothing compared to the numerous other properties I have stayed... More

I was there travelling with business for 5 nights. The room was good but we had trouble with getting free WIFI and food vouchers for breakfast. The property was nice, but it was crazy hot so time at the pool or anywhere outside during daytime was not really an option. The breakfast was decent. Not too much options(no vegetables), but... The desk and restaurant staff were great. The hotel has an awesome workout room. The rooms are a good size but really needs a couch instead one desk chair and one furniture chair (this isn't a good setup for couples or families unless the expect you to pony up for the executive suites) and the staff left ac on since... This was a very solid and reasonably priced hotel if you're looking away from downtown Phoenix and want to save a few dollars. It's right near old central Mesa with plenty of parking and space. No commercial stuff nearby except for a small sports bar across the street. Rooms are pretty good, the pool is always busy, and the lobby... More

Only spent one day & night here but found it pretty delightful. The young man that checked me in, Joey, set the tone. He was delightful, helpful & accomadatimg to my requests. The best part, he truly seemed happy, not just the fake smiles & 'thank you & sorry's' most companies beat their employees over the head with! The room... More

The staff were helpful and accommodating, the hotel very clean, beds comfortable and the inner courtyard was very peaceful. The hotel amenities were not huge, but worked fine: pool, restaurant, bar, business centre and a pub across the street. The location was very central in Mesa.

The good part of this hotel is that the room and lobby are clean. Also staff is very friendly. The bad part: our room was stifling hot both nights and the day. Talked to front desk twice about this and nothing done! Finally we ask for a fan at 1015 pm so we could sleep. The pool was filthy with... More

I would be remiss if I didn't dispel some of the negative reviews I read about this hotel. I admit that I was terrified and thought that I had made a huge mistake and was about to embark upon an unsafe situation. When I tell you that the General Mgr provided his personal cell number to accommodate any issues I... More

This was the first time I've been in town on business and took the recommendation of a local...my father. He was right on. Close to the highway, and after a long day of traveling, I felt very welcome to this nice hotel. The room was clean and the bed...perfect. I had to wait in the lobby for a ride and... More

The Marriott Mesa is a nice hotel located along the east edge of downtown Mesa. The lobby and front desk area was clean with a contemporary feel, and the staff was friendly and helpful on arrival. No valet parking, although we arrived very late due to flight delays. The bar area serves Starbucks coffee in the morning, and turns into... More
