We stay here every year for an event at the Mesa Center for the performing arts. There are definite improvements from our l couple of last year stays. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is very accommodating. The lobby and common areas are very nice. We did have breakfast one day in the Azul cafe, really which... More

We were here overnight on a coach tour. Had room on 5th floor, quiet. Nice room, nice bathroom. Gym and swimming pool on ground floor. No shops evident. We ate across the road in the sports bar which was good. Hotel is old and is quite nice, but nothing special.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I hope you had a great time visiting our state during your tour. Yes, the building itself is old, but our ownership has done a significant amount of capital improvements in the hotel the last three years. We are very proud of the improvements made, and I think that may be reflected in... More

Stayed one night in April, 2015. Have eaten in restaurant 3 or 4 times over the past two years. Both hotel and restaurant are mediocre. Very disappointing for a Marriott. The entire property appears tired. Staff are nice, but nothing special.

I'm a Marriott Gold and appreciated the concierge level upgrade at check-in. They also give you a gift of a free chips and salsa in the hotel restaurant -- a nice touch! Also the free wifi for Marriott Rewards members was fantastically fast. Join for that reason alone. The location is great, right next to DT Mesa. Free parking is... More

I very much appreciate you feedback, and I also appreciate your loyalty to our brand. Your status within the Marriott Rewards program speak volumes to me. You provided great feedback regarding your stay, which we have started to address. Our pool area is in the final stages of having the deck painted. We were slowed by the spring training business,... Was there in early March was about 77 degrees. So during midday it was nice using the pool but later in the day it got cold quick. They had a nice fire pit to keep the chill off. The place was nice and clean.. This is classified as a resort but is geared to business travelers. Felt cold because there... More

Our room was spacious and spotless. I loved the soap and other high-end toiletries. The TV was small but that is just an observation since I did not use it anyway. My husband complained of a lump in the mattress but my side was fine. The pillows seemed to be half-sized squares. The biggest disappointment was the thin, rough, worn,... More

Stayed for two nights last weekend. Booked because my Marriott Rewards Gold status and it was the cheapest rate in the area. I know why. Bland room, bland pool, bland location, etc. Check in was fast, room was clean and relatively modern. I was on the 10th floor and the room did not appear to be remodeled. The headboards and... More

I have stayed at this property several times in the past for business meetings and I always enjoyed the property. My husband and I recently stayed there for Spring training. Thank you so much for providing your feedback. As a repeat guest of ours, we value the feedback. I very much appreciate the positive comments about the hotel. Thank you for taking the time to provide comments on our hotel. We are an Oasis within Mesa, that is a little tucked away, but provides a nice quiet respite. Our proximity to the 101/202 freeway system makes navigating the Valley of the Sun very easy. Our short walk into downtown is also a plus, as guests have easy access... More
