We came for our annual siblings weekend: a chance to reconnect just the two of us without our families. This place was perfect, and we had ample opportunitiy to relax together and catch up: during hikes in the surrounding desert encountering all sorts of wildlife, a couple hours on horseback enjoying unparalleled vistas, lunching at the river while being entertained... I choose to reserve here based on reviews that I saw online and I was not disappointed. My daughter and I were looking for a get-a-way for hiking and this was perfect. Everyone at the ranch was so friendly and helpful. Customer Service is priority one here. The location is beautiful and the breakfast is truly special. We had a... More

Saguaro Lake Ranch was the best place we have ever stayed at! When we "get away" we want to GET AWAY!! We were only in Phoenix for a short weekend trip, just needing to get away for a couple days. This was the perfect place to go!! John, Sean A'lee and all the staff were fantastic even before we arrived.... More

This is a magical little dud ranch just outside of Scottsdale. The staff and owners are the greatest at what they do. I'm not much into the cheesy cowboy thing you get in and around Arizona, but these cowboys and cowfolks were pretty down to Earth and just 'real'. The cabins are nothing fancy (I'd love to see them fixed... More

We are part of a group of families and friends who have spent the last two Thanksgivings here. The food is wonderful, the accomodations are comfortable and the setting is beautiful. There are lots of different kinds of activities for all ages. The two days we spent here just flew by. I can't wait until next Thanksgiving.

We just returned from our second trip to Saguaro Lake Ranch. The staff is amazing. We always enjoy the amazing location. The kids had fun playing ping pong and soccer. We went on the horse ride for the first time. Last time we enjoyed a boat tour on the Desert Belle.

My wife and I just spent to wonderful days here. The staff was some of the best we have ever experienced. They are friendly, helpful, and courteous. They learned our names and called us by name throughout our stay. The room was small and dated, but met our needs well. The breakfast that is included is substantial. The first day... More

Saguaro Lake Ranch is the perfect place to relax and unwind. If you need WiFi or TV this is NOT the place for you--the rooms don't even have clocks. What the ranch does have is peace and quiet, beautiful sunrise/sunsest, a friendly and helpful staff, and good food. We had some animal visitors come by as well--a wild horse, a... More

We were fortunate to stay at the ranch from 04/26/12-04/29/12 for a mini vacation. The owners and staff were all so friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and we left so stuffed that lunch wasn't needed. Our favorite item was the banana french toast...wonderful! We took a trail ride and enjoyed the views of the desert and of Saguaro Lake. Our... More

My wife and I had an extra day in the Phoenix area and were lucky enough to stumble across this place on TripAdvisor. The folks who run it are just about as friendly as you can get and will make you feel right at home. The circa 1930 cabins are pretty rustic, but we didn't go there to watch Sponge... More
