This was our first visit to Saguaro Guest Ranch and we started thinking about return trips with in the first few hours after we checked in. If you are in to the outdoors and clean accommodations This is a great place. John & Sean A’Lee and staff are supper friendly and very knowledgable about the area, and were more than... More

Want peace and serenity without being couple of hours from civilization? This is the place to relax and decompress. Less than hour's to other wonders of this area and close to Saguaro Lake Marina for all your watersports. Not to mention the quaint accommodations and horse stables.

We have been coming here for years and as urbanization destroys the desert nearby this continues to be a funky throwback to the Arizona of my youth; charming and historic. New riding trails have been added and the same warm hospitality and spectacular setting endure.

The Lodge is a diamond in the rough, hidden in the desert. Rustic yet comfortable. You can stay as a B&B or full American Plan. 20+ cabins accommodate a large group or a very small group. John & Sean A'Lee Bevil, the managers, Frank the Cook, and Megan the clerk were like family from the moment we met them. The... More

The owners/staff are delightful. The cottages are historic. The surrounding scenery is spectacular. The rooms and property are well maintained. And if you want to be in the national forest, near the dam, then this is your only option without driving back to the casino or Fountain Hills. That said, the cabins are rustic but very nicely accented with cowboy... More

The staff was extremely friendly as we pulled in to stay one night. They told us where we could search for wild horses, and the last place we spotted (oddly enough the closest one to the Ranch) we saw them. We had a great sleep after that and then woke up to a very nice breakfast before hitting the road.... More

I really can recommend the ranch - I stayed there four times (they even opened for me during summer and I was the only guest), and it was always perfect. Great for hiking and swimming (salt river). Perfect if you have to work on the Boeing plant in Mesa ;-) Paul, Sean and their crew are really great people!

Fantastic local gem. Slightly rustic but contains all the indoor amenities you need. The on-site property managers are the sweetest couple and we even had the privilege to meet the owner. It's so refreshing to have such top-notch customer service, they are invested in your experience. The setting is indescribably beautiful, I could just stare at the bluffs forever and... More

Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch was literally a breath of fresh air east of Phoenix! We visited for two nights after Phoenix and Las Vegas. The property is in such a beautiful setting. The views were breathtaking at sunrise and sunset! The Salt River runs right along the property. All is well maintained and easy to navigate. The little cottages were... More

We booked into the Ranch for a two night stay. The vistas upon arriving were amazing and they changed constantly as the sun shone on the mountains which surrounded the ranch. I will be honest, the cabin was sparse and could've been cleaned a bit better before our arrival but that did not detract from the property and the stay... More
