I really can recommend the ranch - I stayed there four times (they even opened for me during summer and I was the only guest), and it was always perfect. Great for hiking and swimming (salt river). Perfect if you have to work on the Boeing plant in Mesa ;-) Paul, Sean and their crew are really great people!

Fantastic local gem. Slightly rustic but contains all the indoor amenities you need. The on-site property managers are the sweetest couple and we even had the privilege to meet the owner. It's so refreshing to have such top-notch customer service, they are invested in your experience. The setting is indescribably beautiful, I could just stare at the bluffs forever and... More

Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch was literally a breath of fresh air east of Phoenix! We visited for two nights after Phoenix and Las Vegas. The property is in such a beautiful setting. The views were breathtaking at sunrise and sunset! The Salt River runs right along the property. All is well maintained and easy to navigate. The little cottages were... More

We booked into the Ranch for a two night stay. The vistas upon arriving were amazing and they changed constantly as the sun shone on the mountains which surrounded the ranch. I will be honest, the cabin was sparse and could've been cleaned a bit better before our arrival but that did not detract from the property and the stay... More

The property is exquisitely situated along the river with gorgeous mountain views. The cabins are simple but very clean. The staff is super helpful and the food...A++!!! I only had breakfast there, but it included wonderful eggs, a variety of fresh fruit, waffles, bacon, sausage and fresh baked blueberry coffee cake! If you're looking for a get away...this is it!

O.K. This is not a luxury resort. What it IS is a wonderfully friendly, well located guest ranch that is just plain fun. The rooms are small, old, you might find that the plumbing is not the best but everything functions. It is quiet and beautiful. The staff goes above and beyond. This is a historic location and there is... More

Very friendly and accommodating staff! I had a nice and relaxing time here at the ranch. Away from the city and close to nature. They have horse back riding, guided tours, river tubing, kayaking, and other activities which are optional. Free hot breakfast from 8-9am, and free wifi (although it's flaky due to satellite connection, especially if you are further... More

This 1920's Ranch which once housed the workers building the dam, is full of history and charm. Rooms are quaint, old and clean. Everyone has a table and chairs outside their room. The landscaping is meticulous and colorful. The lodge fireplaces were huge and impressive. Loved the architecture. There is a pool, horses, pool hall, reading room, outdoor and indoor games.... More

I was nervous at first because I never stayed at a ranch but this place far than exceeded my expectations. The place is charming, nestled in the desert, near a river, lake and mountains. The views and serenity are spectacular. The staff, especially John are so kind and helpful. We took advantage of the horseback riding which was such a... More

Although we didn't get tickets to the game, we had the best experience during our trip. Starting with the most friendly and accommodating staff to the awesome scenery! Started our days with a hearty breakfast served fireside in the main lodge. Stables on site provided us with the perfect excursion up along ridge line with views of Four Peaks and... More
