Very friendly and accommodating staff! I had a nice and relaxing time here at the ranch. Away from the city and close to nature. They have horse back riding, guided tours, river tubing, kayaking, and other activities which are optional. Free hot breakfast from 8-9am, and free wifi (although it's flaky due to satellite connection, especially if you are further... More

This 1920's Ranch which once housed the workers building the dam, is full of history and charm. Rooms are quaint, old and clean. Everyone has a table and chairs outside their room. The landscaping is meticulous and colorful. The lodge fireplaces were huge and impressive. Loved the architecture. There is a pool, horses, pool hall, reading room, outdoor and indoor games.... More

I was nervous at first because I never stayed at a ranch but this place far than exceeded my expectations. The place is charming, nestled in the desert, near a river, lake and mountains. The views and serenity are spectacular. The staff, especially John are so kind and helpful. We took advantage of the horseback riding which was such a... More

Although we didn't get tickets to the game, we had the best experience during our trip. Starting with the most friendly and accommodating staff to the awesome scenery! Started our days with a hearty breakfast served fireside in the main lodge. Stables on site provided us with the perfect excursion up along ridge line with views of Four Peaks and... More

The guest ranch has a beautiful location along the Salt River. The nearby cliffs provide a stunning backdrop to an already wonderful vista. One can sit outside their room or cabin and enjoy a peaceful, tranquil moment or hour - it's up to you. The managers of the resort are wonderful and go out-of-their way to help make your stay... This place in an excellent escape from the city and only a 20min drive! The owners are very welcoming and considerate. The views of the surrounding areas are amazing and make sure you go tubing to get the full experience. I highly recommend this spot for a group outing or small break from the city life!

It is an amazing find so near the civilization. If you are looking for some adventures, breathtaking views, relaxing water activities, quiet hikes, starry sky away from the city and a little taste of ranch home life, but don't have the time to drive for hours to get there from Phoenix, give this a try. I have lived on a... More

This was my second trip to the Saguaro Lake Ranch and I loved it.....again. These are ranch style accommodations filled with down home hospitality. Leave your phone at home or turned off and enjoy the quiet and serenity that only the desert can offer. Bring your camera. The backdrop of the Goldfield Mountains at sunrise and sunset are fantastic and... More

I have been up to the Ranch 4 times in the last three years and i can say nothing but positive things about the staff, facilities and grounds. I have come up with two different groups, one as small has 10 people and the other with 30 people. The staff has always going out of their way to make sure... More

We just booked a night when traveling west from Florida to LA and were very positively surprised. We arrived around 4pm on a very hot day in early September, and the owner recommended us to take a tube ride on the river around the bend. Wow what an amazing experience!!!!! It made our day/week/trip! 30 minutes floating on a river... More
