4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

First time in Mesa, and found this little jewel. The people in this hotel are wonderful, a real family atmosphere. Hotel looks tired, but the beds and bedding are new, and comfortable. Quiet location, we stayed at back of hotel. Superb breakfast, and we met a wonderful group of people who stay at this hotel, for several weeks at a... More

We gave an almost excellent rating because we had to leave early and missed continental breakfast. Other than that we were comfortable and would stay here again. Also, we will recommend this place to our colleages to stay here as well. Staff on telephone were professional and courtesous, especially the business manager. She helped us.

Sheets were covered in stains Neightbors allowed their kids to slam the door and yell in the hallway continuously. Poor quality of sleep. Not really sure what I paid for. Staff was friendly and checked me in quickly. Location was near my meeting. But the point of paying for an overnight stay is a comfortable room and a comfortable night... More

Interesting neighborhood for walking with restaurants and stores. Easy parking, close to Superstition freeway. Friendly staff. We were impressed with the variety of license plates in the parking lot: from British Columbia, North Dakota, North Carolina, Washington, Oregon, Idaho - all over North America.

Room was located at back of hotel so very noisy. Neighborhood didn't seem overly safe. Furniture and carpet seemed old and unable to get fully clean. Soap and shampoo were provided in bulk dispensers so didn't know what we were using. However, bed was very comfortable, we had good nights' sleeps. Price was ok. Location next to light rail line... Started with taking forever to check in. Once in the room it had a weird smell. After that got in the shower to get ready, and the soap was empty. The doors are hard to close so you have to almost slam it for it to close.

Everything was fine except the internet setup. The breakfast was delicious and the ladies looking after it did an awesome job keeping all the trays loaded, so everything was fresh and hot. The internet left a lot to be desired. I was told buy the front desk that they don't recognize internet explorer and wanted me to download a different... More

Ther's nothing wrong with this Day's Inn. The price is right and if you like an "industrial" but unappealing breakfast to start the day, this is a solid choice. Though I had need to be in Scottsdale, this was a close enough alternative that was more reasonably priced. They have a nice, clean pool, well-heated. They are working on a... More
