I stayed 2 nights. My room was clean and comfortable. Looked newly renovated. The street was a little loud so I left the fan running on the air unit which helped. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Wifi worked well. The lobby is always locked and you have to ring a door bell to be let in which is strange.... More

Our room was quite clean and appeared to have been renovated recently. Everything seemed new and updated. It was actually more than we expected for the modest price we paid. The bed was comfortable and we had no complaints. We were not wanting anything beyond the basics. We were in the area for a Spring Training baseball game and would... More

Long story short, bugs everywhere. I put up with it for 1 night until I found a 2" long cockroach in the bathroom. The lady at the front desk told me they could never have bugs, they clean it every day. Puh-lease. I then (not so kindly) offered to show her. They refunded me 2/3 nights since I did stay... More

The worst hotel ever, the worlds smallest bathroom, not even enough space between tub and wall to clean your bottom with paper. Less than 18 inches space and not enough space to shave standing in front of the mirror no space on vanity.

We arrived at the American Executive in in Mesa Az but were too afraid to stay there. Of course, there was no refund forthcoming...I know now to only stay at reputable hotels and if you have to pre-pay your stay ... this is another red flag warning. The office has a steel door that is locked, we arrived at 11:30am,... More

We thought this would be a good hotel for the pictures we saw online. When we arrived we were very disappointed. The area where this hotel is looks not safe. The persons at the office are very rude. We were overcharged. For the same price, we could have been in a better hotel.

The hotel was clean. Location not good. The bed was from 60's hard as a rock. Bathroom size of a shoe box. Shower was so small there is no room to move. I was bumping into walls. Terrible! Dont waste your money.

Beds are very comfortable. Staff (family and help) are fantastic. Pool is always clean and well maintained. Room is quiet. Staff goes out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Rooms with kitchens are the best because of the cost savings on food. If you're looking for six pillows on the bed and... More

I'm all about managing expectations. For $50 or so a night, you get a bed, clean sheets, and a fresh set of towels, as well as the security of being in a reasonably safe area, which is more than you can say for a lot of budget accommodations in the Phoenix area. (left a rental car for a day and... More

Traveling from WI with three small children for a family of 5, the kitchen saved us a lot of money! We brought a pot, other dishes, and a small amount of dish soap, and several meals, resulting in us only eating out once during our stay. For $45 a night during a holiday week (including NYE and day), this place... More
