I have read a few of the previous reviews and I can't understand what people expect for £30 a night. The rooms aren't huge but they are very comfortable. The hotel has a small pool which is perfect after a hot day at the falls. Remy is a great host who is keen to help at every opportunity. The grounds... more

we loved rio tropic...it was a bit outside of the small town of puerto iguazu but it wasn't hard to get a taxi to or from the hotel at any given point. the hotel was run well, had a small, yet satisfying breakfast and friendly staff. i have already recommended it to several people who are going to the area... more

When I think "hotel" or "bed&breakfast" there is a certain amount of comfort I expect. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned anything about the bathrooms at the lodging. There is no tub or shower stall just a shower head on one side of the wall (see picture). So after showering, water gets all over the toilet & the entire... more

About cleanliness : -among 68 reviews, 63 are very positive and all (100%) are positive comments about the cleanliness. -among the top 10 hotels recommended on tripdavisor in iguazu Riotropic is also the least expensive. customers who want a hotel of 4 or 5 stars make a reservation in a luxury hotel and pay a price in relation... Despite all...

Off the beaten path. Real orange juice from tree around the cabins. Beautiful pool. Simple breakfast. But rooster do crow in paradise and sometimes at midnight. Not near the bus line to the falls. Need to take a cab to town or the falls. The shower leave much to be desired. more

We stayed two nights at Riotropic, a rustic "motel" style place with 9 rooms about a mile (first 100 yards on mud road) from "downtown" Puerto Iguazu, the town associated with the Argentinian side of Igauzu falls park. The hotel is family run, and the staff is very responsive with good English skills. Rooms were clean and quite adequate, not... more

My wife and I stayed three nights at Riotropic. It is located two miles outside of Port Iguazu off the main highway, down a dirt road in quiet attractive setting. The relatively new motel/B&B features wood paneled rooms that are large and clean. The swimming pool is inviting and the patio great for drinks and snacks. Remi is the accomodating... more

I stayed two nights in the off season and Riotropic was an excellent base for the town and the falls. Remi , the owner is french and speaks every language you might need. His advice for eating, transport and tours is excellent. This place was a very welcome break from the bustle of BA. more
