The male hosts mood varied between very angry and pissed off. Very unfriendly!! Dont know why he is running a hostal, it seems that he hates people. The female host is friendlier, but cant compensate the bad appearence of the guy. Too many big dogs around which want to eat your food and are occupying the sofas. Swimmingpool was not... More

The hostel did the job and at a cheap price. Close to the busstation in Iguazu and very helpful hosts. Rather worn down in general. The dogs at the hostel are very nice, but there are hairs all over. We never got time to try the pool, but it looked nice!

I can understand why there bad reviews for this place. The 5 German Shepards are hard to avoid! That said, they are incredibly friendly and clean - we loved them! The 4 man room was clean, comfortable and had aircon. The pool is terrific. Breakfast was good too. Good location and good price. The female owner is very helpful and... More

If I go back to see Iguazu Falls I won't be staying at the Residencial Uno. They helped me get a taxi to Iguazu Falls in the morning but that was the only good thing they did. The wifi was okay but the computers they had were very poor. The wires were sticking out of the computer. The shower was... More

I have stayed in alot of hostels and this is the most disgusting place I have ever had to misfortune of staying in. The whole place is filthy from top to bottom and the potent stench of the 5 dogs they own stings the nostrils after a while. The hostel is owned by a couple, the woman was helpful and... More

FIRST IMPRESSION Despite having bad reviews, we thought since the last review had been written, things would have improved...how wrong were we. STAFF; The female who works there is nice enough but no one else speaks english and the owner has a face like a dog chewing a thistle. Even though the female was helpful, neither myself or my partner... More

The hostel is very unwelcoming, the rooms have very bad and unstable beds, and you should be thankful for electricity. the toilet is literally attached to the shower which has no water flow. the worst part about the hostel is the owner, he is very rude and arrogant I was in shock with his behavior. I advise anyone who reads... More

I booked two nights in this hostel after a 30 hour bus ride from Montevideo, only to arrive with no reservation. The hostel had over booked and there was no room for me and my boyfriend. The man running the hostel was extremely rude as he tried to find another hostel for us to stay in, which was the extent... More

In January 2012 we spent 3 nights in this hostal. We were met by a very unfriendly man who did not even say hello, but just showed us our room. We did not succeed in making him say hello any of the 3 days ! The room was very bad too. The mosquito net was broken, and that we could... More
