We stayed in Poramba for three nights, in a private double room with an ensuite wet-room. I wasn't expecting too much given the cost of ~10GBP/night per person...but was very pleasantly surprised. The hostel is certainly basic and has a bit of a shabby look and feel, but for us this just added to its charm. It's set in a... More

My girlfriend and I visited Puerto Iguazu for two days. Looking back at all our hostels, it was our favorite one, even though it was the cheapest! The private double was very decent, with a correct bed, good AC, spacious enoguh and mosquito net. The bathroom was a wet room, so don't expect too much, but for us it did... More

We stayed in a double private ensuite. Budget style room. Bed was slightly dirty. Bathroom was small. Dead cockroach on the floor. Door lock needs to be replaced. Bathroom door jammed. However staff were very helpful & friendly. The location is close to the main street. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked reasonable. Free wi fi available. After... More

Service was generally good - decent location on a quiet street. Took the private and was worth it to catch up on some much needed sleep. Probably not a party hostel - but it's not that kind of town. has pool, would not swim. hammocks.

My husband and I stayed in a private room here, for two nights. Overall, we felt it was a good choice - good location, quiet, A/C, good wifi, large room, en suite and breakfast was included (typical South American croissants and coffee). The communal kitchen itself is quite clean, but the pots and pans could do with a good scrub... More

Three of us stayed here for one night. Very friendly staff and tidy room. The receptionists even helped us grab cabs to the Falls and then a cab that drove us to the Brazilian side---amazing!!! Didn't make use of the awesome pool but spent some much needed time on one of the hammocks. Glad I did!!!Very affordable, gave us a... More

Hi, We really struggled to make a choice of our trip as there are so many places to choose from but this place didn't disappoint. Big highlight was Veronica who was amazingly helpful and friendly! The pool is really good after a long day at the falls and so is the terrace at the front. Private rooms are clean and... More

Definitively recommendable, everybody who worked there was really friendly and helpful, had a great time, also the price per night was really ok. The breakfast was awesome, and the pool a relaxing option after a day at the falls.

A few private rooms around a swimming pool, about a 5-10 min walk from the bus station and centre. Quiet, air con and WiFi in rooms, decent kitchen, friendly and helpful staff, free breakfast = pretty good!

Poramba hostel was a great little hostel tucked into a quiet neighbourhood of puerto igasu. It was a very easy 600-700m walk away from the centre of the township and a nice little retreat to come back too. My partner and I shared a private double room- value for money it was excellent. Private bathroom is included in the private... More
