A fantastic location for birding! We hired a local birding guide (http://www.toucanbirding.com/services.html) which helped a LOT! This is a private reserve adjacent to other large tracts of native forest. A real key here is the bamboo forest which hosts many wonderful species. This is simply my favourite birding spot in northern Misiones. Quiet and with great big chunky wooden furniture in the patio, one of the great things about San Sebastian is the mosaic of grassland and wetland teeming with birds just outside the door. The best place to be in touch with nature!! Just in the middle of the jungle plenty of activities to do like trekking, canoeing, resting; awesome if you like to bird watch and take photos! This is an overwhelming lodge, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, your hosts Ramon and Natalia make you one of the family and I was genuinely sad to be leaving.
