Hotel Cataratas is old, but the price is also quite cheap for the service you get. In general in Puerto Iguazu is a good offer for the price. In comparison with other hotels I stayed at during the trip in Misiones, it was great. A big room, decent bathroom fittings. But it is not a five star anymore - the carpeting could be changed, the grouting in the bathroom can be redone.
