I was very skeptical at first when booking this hotel due to all the many mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. Also because I normally do not stay at hotels below 4 stars by North American standards. We stayed here for 2 nights and booked the master bedroom (not the standard), and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. To our surprise, all the staff... More

First of all, we had 3 rooms, we asked for rooms far away from the busy street and even though we arrived early, we did not get them. Service at the reception was bellow average - with exception of one receptionist (I think her name was Aixa). I did not like my room at all. It was on the top... More

I was very to happy to stay here for two nights, when I was crossing from. Brazil into Argentina. The pool was great, and the rooms were spacious and clean and very reasonably priced. The highlight, however, was the surprise we had in the restaurant, which was a very cheaply priced chateaubriand, shared between two of us with roasted veg.... More

The Hotel Saint George is diagonally across from the Bus Station, convenient if arriving by bus. The hotel has seen better days, rooms being somewhat outdated, but beds were clean and room was functional. A/C worked fine in our room, but our friends did not have a working A/C on the first night. When the outside temperature is >30C, a... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night only while on a trip to see the famous waterfalls. We arrived in the afternoon and were very pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff. After checking in, a process that went very smoothly, I asked if the hotel offered on site hairdressing as we had come here directly from a... More

Good location, spacious and comfortable room. However breakfast was below standard and juices were terrible. Dinner was very good with a wide variety of food. Service was okay and staff was helpful and friendly.

Perfectly adequate hotel, room spacious and clean. Service at front desk was lacking. I waited for an hour for my bag, to be sent to my room, as I was in wet clothes from the falls, I just wanted a shower, no explanation or apology provided. Breakfast reasonable, continental. Terrible orange juice!! Pool looked nice although I didn't use it.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and had almost no complaints. I found the service very good, although it did get busy with the occasional tour group at times. I got a walkin rate of about a third of the rack rate printed on the wall next to reception, perhaps due to the time of year. Wifi was... More

Though the building is nice and the location is great, I would advise seeking alternative accommodation due to poor service - especially the front desk staff. Waiting time at the front desk can be unacceptable long and despite four face-to-face complaints about wifi ceasing once past the threshold of our room, we only got assurances that we were indeed wrong.... I will preface this by saying that there are few nice places in the town and if you are in the area for a few days to go to the falls and the accommodation is important to you, you may have better luck in Brazil. It is a bigger city and more options. First impressions were good. The driver we... More
