We weren't expecting much based on these reviews but when we opened the door to our room we were very surprised! The room was huge and the bathroom had a separate bath/shower was also very modern, so we couldn't understand the reviews. Only during our stay did things become clearer. Our room was on the 5th floor so didn't expect... more

I spent four days in Saint George Hotel and loved it!! It is located in the lovely town "Puerto Iguazú" (don't stay in "Foz do Iguazú"; the last time I visited the falls I went there and it was really awful town, like a frontier city), in front of the bus terminal (you can reach the "Parque Nacional Iguazú", the... more

Having stayed here some five years ago we pretty much knew what to expect. Yes it could do with a lick of paint, but overall its an ok hotel to see the falls. There is not really much else. more

This hotel is close to the center of town (10 minute stroll), has a nice pool area and is only 30 minutes by car from Iguazu Falls and the airport. There are also some nice restaurants close by as well as a convenience store and the bus terminal. The staff where very friendly, even the night shift who spoke little... more

I got this hotel as part of a package tour and was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice pool and bar area. The hotel was very clean. Our room seemed to be recently remodeled. The desk staff was usually polite, but gave conflicting information regarding late check out. We had dinner and breakfast included, and they were decent. more

This is a very noisy hotel. The airco is loud and cannot be switched off and is not controllable. Even when airco is not needed (now it is not needed at night as I knew from a Brazilian hotel) it will still make a lot of noise. Then there is a bar opposite the hotel with loud music till 2... more

OK, I use Trip Advisor all the time now to save myself from potential nightmares so I read the reviews of the Saint George and asked my travel agent here in Buenos Aires to find me another hotel because of the bad reviews here. One thing and another and the travel agent talked me round I decided to give a... more

Buffet was okay. I think breakfast and dinner is included in the room rate. I know it was for me. Room was fairly bad, due to the filthy and worn wall-to-wall carpeting in my room. It appeared some rooms had wood or tile floors, which makes far more sense in a tropical rain forest environment. The air conditioner was huge,... more

I stayed for 2 nights in room #108. The room looked old and rusty. I had to keep a window open all the time, because the room was stinky. The AC did not have any controls and was rumbling so loudly that I could hear it while taking the shower. The bathroom did not have any shelves for shampoo, toothpaste... more

We read all the negative reviews on trip advisor and went ahead and booked our room anyway after the travel agent in Buenos Aires assured us the hotel was nice. We were very happy with the hotel. The room was a junior suite, kingsize bed, and it far exceeded our expectations. The room was in excellent condition, very clean, furniture was... more
