We stayed at Casa Yaguarete for only two nights, it could have been longer, since the national parks and attractions in the tri-nation area offer a lot more to see, and we would have loved to spend more time with Lorena and Andrea. We knew beforehand about the location (a bit outside the city) and, as a group of four,... More

This is a really great B&B - it is quiet, feels out-of-the way, neat and tidy, the breakfasts are great and the evening meals very substantial and tasty. There are numerous other accommodation providers in the same area when you start looking. The common outdoor area is great to enjoy a meal with other travellers and swap stories. It is... More

I stayed here with two friends for just two nights, spending one full day on the Argentinian side of the falls. Lorena is really friendly and speaks great english. The room was really nicely decorated with attractive pictures and earthy colours. It's modest, not showy, but that suits the area and the style of the cabanas. If you like swanky... More

We stayed at Casa Yaguaraté for 3 nights, over Carnaval. Lorena, one of the owners, as you’ll see in other comments, is indeed a great host: upon arrival she will sit with you to explain all there is to know about visiting the cataratas on both sides and she will help with anything and is always available. However, this is... More

Hola Ricardo, My replies to your comments : 1. About the room, we have given to you one of the new rooms which is simpler than the old ones. We will take in account all your comments to improve them. 2. We have forgotten to put the toilet paper, this doesn’t mean that we don’t provide it. It was fixed... More

I received a warm welcome from Lorena who promptly showed me to my spotlessly clean and spacious ensuite bungalow, then sat me down, drew a map for me and advised me what I should do and see over the next few days. While Casa Yaguarete is well outside the centre of town, it's only a 5-minute walk to the bus... More

Clean simple comfortable rooms with working air con great breakfast and very welcoming. So nice to have meals at a communal table and to experience being with people of the country. Do book dinner, i is excellent and Lorena will organise wine or beer for you at sensible prices. The falls are fantastic - both sides but you need local... More

My wife and I have just spent 4 nights at this great B+B, where we were perfectly hosted by Lorena and Andrea, who speak English and French as well as Spanish. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but comfortable + self contained in small cabins set in shaded private grounds. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms function well and air conditioning works... More

From the first e-mails, Lorena was the perfect hostess. She is completely aware of what a traveler needs, and readily assists with all arrangements - changing money, calling taxis, making reservations. Andrea is a wonderful cook, and so it was really nice to have dinner at the B&B after a long hot day at Iguazu Falls. Instead of dragging into... More

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Yaguarete. We were greeted warmly by Lorena who helped us plan our activities and arranged drivers. The day we got there we went off to see the Bird zoo on the Brazil side…US citizens need a visa for the rest of Brazil but with a driver, we were allowed across to view the birds.... More

The hostel is located in a peaceful but not too remote area. The cabañas are well furnished and large with nice artwork on the walls. The wifi is perfectly working all over the place and the home made breakfast is amazing. Lorena is a perfect host, nice and helpful and her hand drawn maps are more accurate than google maps! She... More
