It's a bit out of town, but mostly a good deal. Marie the French owner is a reserved but good hostess. She cooks well and is attentive to the guests. Unfortunately, the rooms have no locks on the doors, and I made the mistake of leaving $400 US in a shirt pocket when I went to visit the falls. When... More

We arrived feeling weary from days hiking the falls and left feeling rested and refreshed in this haven! Maria is a fab host and a great cook. Our evening meal was AMAZING!!! So tasty and hearty... i wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is idyllic, the only drawback being that it is so far out of town. Maria... More

If you're not looking for a fancy five-star hotel with piccolos, pool and roomservice this could very well be your place to stay during your visit to Iguazu. We stayed here for three nights and were very satisfied. Marie, who owns the place, is very down to earth and very helpful. One night, my wife and I were the only... More

The place is beautiful! The rooms are basic but that is fine because there are very cosy areas outside to hang out. Marie cooked us a very nice dinner which we had outside, at the pool area. She also was very thoughtful. The place is a bit outside city, but as we were by car it was no problem at... More

Puerto Iguazu was our first stop to our one-month trip in Argentina. We stayed at Los Tangueros for two nights -two nights of peace, tranquility, and relaxation. As we first stepped into the garden we were astonished: we were surrounded by nature, and could hear nothing but the sounds of the insects and little animals. Marie, a passionate tango dancer... I stayed at Los Tangueros with my mom in March and really enjoyed our stay. Marie is a lovely hostess. The location of the hotel is somewhat far from downtown, but taxis are widely available. Our room was very spacious and the grounds of Los Tangueros are truly beautiful.

This is located in a beautiful, tranquil lush setting. The room was very spacious. However, we found the pillows were rather lumpy. The sink is not in the bathroom but in the room itself. The wood counter had black mold around the faucet. There was only 1 faucet (no hot water), and the handle was so close to the wall... More

First, let me say the accomodations are basic and since we were looking for a triple room, it was a bargain! Basic is okay if it is clean and this place is spotless inside and out. I borrowed their iron in the linen room and it was also spotless and the linens were lined up like a display at Banana... More

Los Tangueros offers everything any traveller would need. An exceptional hostess, clean and air conditioned private quarters, homemade meals sometimes with a French flair, exquisite gardens of flowering and fruit laden trees, driver and guide availability, laundry service, and a welcoming pet dog called Tango! Marie is the owner and chef, a lovely expat from France, who runs this place... More

I stayed here by myself recently when visiting Iguazu falls. Marie, the owner, was the quintessential host and made my stay so enjoyable! She is the heart of this place and make sure your stay is a lovely one. She organized all my transportation to and from the airports and to the falls and back. But more than that, she... More
