Decent rooms and shared bathrooms, especially for the price. The pool and common areas are nice. A quiet place overall, near bus station but on edge of downtown, which was still very walkable. Great Italian restaurant across street.

We stayed here for two nights when visiting the falls. Located just a few blocks from the bus terminal and city center, great when you are going to iguazu. Clean rooms and lovely garden with a swimming pool. The staff was helpful with tip and recommendations. We would come back here in our next trip to puerto iguazu.

We stayed in Garden Stone for 3 nights and found it comfortable. We stayed in a private room with ensuite, it was spacous and clean. The aircon was quite noisy so we kept it off but thankfully the fan in our room kept it cool. The staff were friendly and patient with us considering we had very little spanish. They... More

After a trip from hell with tam airlines who cancelled our flight from London then the replacement the next day was delayed by several hours so we missed our connection in Sao paulo. I kept hostel garden stone informed with our progress but we missed the first night of our stay. On arrival, what a nice welcome and refused to... More

We stayed there three days in December 2014. The owner was welcoming. The air conditioner did not work well enough and we were also needed to move to another room because of a noisy AC (this was not a problem what so ever). The hostel is 5-7 minutes walk from all the attractions in the city. The garden is amazing... More

We chose to stay here as pretty much everywhere else gets very mixed reviews and Garden Stone was more positively reviewed. The hostel is in a good location, the staff are very friendly, breakfast is plentiful and the little pool is very inviting. The one downside is that the top bunk I had in the girl's dorm was quite rickety... More

You go to Puerto Iguazu to see the Falls. But after my stay in this Hostel I liked it almost as much as the Falls. The staff is very friendly (but does not speak english) and the garden is awsome. There are hammocks and a lot great places to relax. Plus a warm pool if you lied for too long... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hostel was clean and comfortable, and the private rooms had air conditioning--really appreciated in the summer heat! The staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable; they had a lot of pertinent information and recommendations to give us. The included breakfast was one of the better ones I've had in Argentina--fresh fruit, more than just... More

This hostel is close to the bus station and town. It is fairly clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. They sell bottles of water and beer. So you don't have to carry water back to the hostel. Breakfast is fine with a selection of fruit. Reasonable coffee.
