After a trip from hell with tam airlines who cancelled our flight from London then the replacement the next day was delayed by several hours so we missed our connection in Sao paulo. I kept hostel garden stone informed with our progress but we missed the first night of our stay. On arrival, what a nice welcome and refused to... More

We stayed there three days in December 2014. The owner was welcoming. The air conditioner did not work well enough and we were also needed to move to another room because of a noisy AC (this was not a problem what so ever). The hostel is 5-7 minutes walk from all the attractions in the city. The garden is amazing... More

We chose to stay here as pretty much everywhere else gets very mixed reviews and Garden Stone was more positively reviewed. The hostel is in a good location, the staff are very friendly, breakfast is plentiful and the little pool is very inviting. The one downside is that the top bunk I had in the girl's dorm was quite rickety... More

You go to Puerto Iguazu to see the Falls. But after my stay in this Hostel I liked it almost as much as the Falls. The staff is very friendly (but does not speak english) and the garden is awsome. There are hammocks and a lot great places to relax. Plus a warm pool if you lied for too long... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hostel was clean and comfortable, and the private rooms had air conditioning--really appreciated in the summer heat! The staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable; they had a lot of pertinent information and recommendations to give us. The included breakfast was one of the better ones I've had in Argentina--fresh fruit, more than just... More

This hostel is close to the bus station and town. It is fairly clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. They sell bottles of water and beer. So you don't have to carry water back to the hostel. Breakfast is fine with a selection of fruit. Reasonable coffee.

Nice property. Staff was very friendly and nice. I don't know if they spoke a lot of English. My wife spoke Spanish to them. Hostel was close by to the town's main strip (restaurants and bus station). Stayed in a private room with ensuite bathroom. Another Tripadvisor reviewer wrote about ants in her room. I think I stayed in her... More

This hostel is so nice! The staff are friendly, rooms are nice (we had private) and the garden is so lovely! Its so rare to have a proper garden at a hostel but this is just beautiful, also with a small pool! Would stay again!

Room was great- really big, comfy bed, air con. Nearby to shared bathrooms which were very clean and had good strong showers (water was a bit too hot at times and I couldn't turn the temp down). Gardens were nice and maintained, hammocks, sun loungers by pool. Decent enough kitchen if you wanted to cook own stuff. Breakfast was good-... More

This hostel could be so much better. There are quite a few things that really let it down and this is because they are clearly being too cheap and can't be bothered investing a bit of 'love' into their establishment. The positives are - the room was clean, the bed comfortable, they have air conditioning (but they restrict the usage,... More
