We stayed 2 nights and the room was very spacious, clean and quiet with a large bathroom with spa and large beds. The breakfast was nice and had enough variety and the staff was friendly and helpful. In general we had a great staying at the hotel

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the privacy of the bungalos in the jungle setting. Our room was very spacious and the shower had a large window overlooking the jungle. The breakfast was very nice and we ate dinner two nights (limited menu and one night sat in office building due to function in dining room). Staff was quite... More

There was some confusion when we arrived and a lot of waiting around, We did not find reception staff very friendly or helpful. Food was good, especially breakfast. Weather was not good enough for us to use the pool, Rooms in cabins were fantastic, so clean and roomy.

Booked this hotel after checking reviews on Trip Advisor and were a bit disappointed as the hotel did not live up to the photos or its ratings. The hotel was pretty basic and the rooms had absolutely no view (read "facing dense forest" very literally!!!) Restaurant had limited breakfast and dinner options and no lunch. We ordered a pizza to... More

Two nights spent in this garden/tropical bush setting was as quiet as anyone could want. Wooden boardwalks link rooms in a cluster with big distances between. Rooms are like cabins in the bush. Resort is spread out over a huge area. Very relaxing quiet walks to rooms enjoying the trees and shrubs along the walk. Saw a colourful snake on... More

The hotel offers a great backdrop to a fantastic experience which are the Iguazu falls. The pool area is great and breakfast is good. Easy access to a lot of places of interest in the area. Close to the main road leading to the airport, the Cataratas Parks and the city of Puerto Iguazu. The hotel rooms blend with the... More

This rustic hotel is a series of lodge-style cabins in the middle of the jungle, but really just off the main drag between the airport and Puerto Iguazu, which I guess is the jungle. The cabins are great, with an awesome porch facing dense forest. The restaurant however is not very good and there aren't any other options nearby. I... More

A few clarifications: 1. as mentioned in another review, there's no "spa" in sight. Not sure what this is in reference to (the jets in the mini-pool? Wasn't even on. ) 2. Not necessarily in the "jungle"; it's on the edge of town but the vegetation is thin. There's enough coverage so you're not staring into someone else's room but... More

La Aldea de la Selva is a rustic hotel 'in the jungle'. A good place to stay for your Iguazu Falls visit. A nice swimming pool, good restaurant serving nice meals and pleasant spacious rooms. Not too far from the town centre (you can walk, but it's about 25 to 30 minutes). The one request we made from the staff... More

Our room was spacious and well furnished with a nice balcony. The decor is rustic, but comfortable. The location is good, you can easily arrange for a taxi driver to pick you up and drive you to both the Argentine and Brazilian side of the falls. Breakfast was fine. However, the restaurant was not that great, some dishes were ok... More
