This was the best meal I ever had - in Paris it would cost a bomb but in Puerto it was affordable. Fantastic presentation and lots of palate cleansers and extra touches. We wish we had stayed in the hotel as well.

This is not a luxury hotel. The rooms, chair and beds are small and not comfortable, and the plumbing is not up to modern standards. There is air conditioning, which is greatly appreciated since this is the tropics. The bathroom is clean and the fixtures modern, but the plumbing is not up to the job. But it is clear that... More

We found this hotel by complete accident when we were trying to escape the Raices Esturion hotel one evening. We stopped for dinner here and immediately asked if there were any rooms for us to stay in - we moved out of the Raices and into here first thing the next day. It was the best decision we could have... More

This boutique is just off the beaten path in a kind of residential area. Once the gate is opened up for you it's a large property that is stunning and peaceful. There are two spas and a pool. A wonderful breakfast (though it lacked protein) in an outdoor sitting area that is a part of a high end Italian restaurant... More

A small charming family run hotel with welcoming and helpful staff and a superb restaurant. Basic no frills rooms in a courtyard setting with a shady pool and lots of outdoor seating. Staff gave good no pressure advice on access to the falls and you would do well to follow their suggestions. We would visit this hotel for the dinner... More

What a pleasure it was staying at this hotel. Simona is such a great host, she really helped me with everything, trips to the falls, special taxis etc. The room was lovely (Aqua) and the place is just great for relaxing after a hard trip to the falls. The restaurant deserves a special mention. True Italian dining in a lovely... More

My wife and I enjoyed starting off the day with expresso coffee and good breakfast and then heading off to the Falls, either by hotel arranged driver or a convenient bus stop a block away. Then returning to the interior walled courtyard garden, and a nice room with outdoor space. A dip in the pool is good if the weather... More

We arrived rather early but that didn't faze the management at this hotel. Everything was smooth and professional and we were welcomed with a glass of fizz and soon shown to our very stylish room. We spent a lovely relaxing "day off" from rushing around to enjoy the jacuzzi and the pool which we pretty much had to ourselves during... More

We visited the Iguazu waterfalls the first week of December last year. We had the option to stay in the Brazilian side of the Iguazu, but we opted to stay in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. We did not want to be in crowded hotels, but rather in a family atmosphere, so we chose the Boutique Hotel de la Fonte, which is... More

Stayed for 1 night and was very happy. Lovely, friendly staff when we checked in, which was 3 hours earlier than stated checkin time. Really helpful and told us how to get to Brazil falls and to do Argentinian falls on the second day, which was great advice. The room (naïf ?) was not as nice as the photos but... More
