Staff was unhelpful. The first day breakfast was basically all gone before 9. What was left was dry pieces of bread with old nasty tasting jam. The next day hot breakfast wasn't even made before 8:30. The rooms have mold all on the walls and ceilings and smell much like it too. It was so damp in the room the... More

We didn't stay here, and were very glad of it after now reading reviews. But, we did check this place out after waiting 15 mins for the receptionist. She offered us a good deal and we checked out the rooms. They seemed dirty but okay, until we checked the mattresses (thank God we did after a long bus ride). They... More

The only thing that was positive about this hostel is the price (200 pesos for a double room). Now the bad things: - the staff could not smile, was not willing to give advise, they could not speak a single word english. Without spanish you are basically screwed. - the bed smells like fungus and other stuff you don't want... More

Do not be fooled by the pictures on the website, this place was so gross in every way. My girlfriend and I shared a double room with a private bathroom and we would not even touch the covers. the pillows smelled so bad like dirty heads that we had to stuff them under the bed to hide the smell and... we stayed in this hostel recently and regretted every minute of it. it is expensive, dirty, still under construction and the rooms and foremost the bathrooms are very run down (and the water of the shower was either boiling hot or extremely cold). our bed and the matress was old and filthy and occupied bed bugs...loads of them... we didn't... So apart from the rather gross rooms, we were appalled by what happened when we arrived. We said we'd stay for two nights and they willingly took our cash and made us sign some declaration. As soon as we had done that, they informed us that the falls were closed on the Argentinian side but open on the Brazilian side.... More

As with every hostel, I am sure double rooms are way more comfortable than shared 10 bed rooms. We stayed in a 10 bed room and luckily everyone was very respectful but I never got my sheets replaced but by then I had become quite the hardcore traveller and got used to things like these but I feel they're still... I had booked this hostel through hostelworld and was disgusted when I arrived. Outside is like a building site. Unfortunately I made the mistake of paying for the full night before seeing the rooms- the dorm had a glass door in to it that was all smashed and the door handle was falling off. There were bunk beds squashed against... More

Dirty sheets (hair and dirt!!!), dirty swimming pool (leafs, plastic cup, cloudy water), broken tiles, ugly entrance (nothing to do with the main picture with a pretty wood cabin - no idea where that is! - I am attaching a picture of an actual entrance), dirty old kitchen. So why am I giving it two stars? Good location (5 minutes... More

Do not stay here. We paid for the more expensive 'better' private dbl room. It was terrible. The room stank, the sheets were dirty, the air conditioning didn't work properly. Outside the room is no better. The place looks like a construction yard, complete with rubbish lying around. Worst of all, we were double charged as the reception wouldn't accept... More
