This Estancia has been in the family since it was built by Nanni's grandfather. Guests are welcomed as family guests. For anyone who likes peace and quite and an intimate atmosphere it is wonderful. The house itself is perhaps in need of some updating but riding a horse through the Mate plantation to the volcanic rock swimming pool was something... More

Staying in Estancia Santa Ines is a very unique experience. As we arrived there with my wife late in the night, because we were lost on the way, covered in mud, Nina welcomed us with all her kindness. After our shower, she served us a delicious homemade dinner. In our old fashioned large room, we spent then a delicious night,... More

Estancia Santa Ines is unlike anywhere else we stayed in Argentina. Although we were paying, we felt as if we were staying with old friends in their country retreat. Nanni and her niece Andrea were perfect hosts. For example we arrived late at 11 pm and were amazed and touched that Nanni had stayed up late so she could eat... More

My Dad always used to say a well-off chap could sit around "like a tea planter", and now I know what he meant, even though Mate is rather different to tea. Living at Estancia Santa Ines for a couple of days was to be transported right into another lifestyle and it was one that I would like to have become... More

The estancia is a working farm, and the accommodations are in the main house of the family that has founded the estancia a century ago. Beautiful home, full of the family furnishings and pictures. Architecturally this place is a gem, and the setting superb, with grand gardens that merge into jungle and a natural pool great for swimming. The manager,... More

If you're going to Posadas (e.g., en route to Iguasu, to the Jesuit mission ruins at San Ignacio Mini, or to the Esteros del Ibara), this is a much nicer place to stay than in a hotel in town. Nanny, the owner and your hostess, is charming and welcoming and will tell you the fascinating history of the estancia, which... More

We stayed for two nights at the estancia and had a wonderful time. The estancia is an old house built in 1901, by the host’s grandfather. It’s like staying in a museum but you get to touch things. All the meals, including wine, were included, and we had some of our best meals in Argentina at the estancia. One day... More

My wife & I stayed 2 nights, during a driving tour through the Misiones province. We had heard about staying at estancias, and booked one through a travel agent in Posadas. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The main house is absolutely beautiful, as is the surrounding grounds. It is obvious that the family had a lot of money at... More
