Good location, large comfortable room and bathroom. Very friendly staff. Indeed a recommended place to stay in Posadas. We got a high floor room that allows a view of the river and city. Breakfast is great. If you travel by car bear in mind their parking is located a block away and has a cost of about 15 usd per... More

I had a short stay in Posadas (2 nights) and the hotel was fine. Room was spacious and modern and clean. The staff in the lobby was kind but not all of them are speaking good English, so be prepared to use Spanish. If you open the window, then it's very loud because there's a busy street in front of... Pros: nice lobby and centrally located hotel. Cons: poor costumer service! The receptionists showed no effort to help. Parking is very limited. The carpet is filthy!! I would NOT recommend this hotel... it's overpriced!

A modern looking hotel in the center of town (NO PARKING AVAILABLE !!!!!!). Lobby area was modern and clean. Room was another story. Large room, Bed and Bath were clean and plenty of towels, normal shampoo and conditioner supplies. Shower bathtub combination. HOWEVER, the carpet was disgusting to the point where there was no going barefoot from the shower to... More

What would otherwise have been a very nice experience, got spoiled by the fact that the carpets (corridor and room) must have been last replaced in 1986. They are worn and stained; a total contrast to the rest of the hotel and its features. The rooms are pretty big, the bathroom was the nicest we saw during our trip through... More

I spent tow nights in this hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is well located near to the town square and some better restaurants. Only 20 minutes from the Airport. The rooms are well apportioned and spacious. The Wifi link is good and free. Meetings rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need. The only... More

My husband and I recently stayed at The Urbano as we wanted to visit San Ignacio and couldn't find a hotel there. The location was good with a taxi rank outside the door. The staff were friendly. The hotel is modern and clean. There is not much to do in Posadas and we were hopping to use the pool but... More

The rooms are large but empty. Also on the floor you noticed that some one had some problems with some red wine. The shower is good, wifi is good and breakfast is just good. Even when you arrive late in the morning. The English spoken isn't that good but they are really helpfull. I did like the outdoor space, just... More

I stayed at this hotel in October 2011. At that time the hotel was really new, it has been opened only a few months before. The quality of the materials (carpets, bed, furniture, bathroom, multimedia) was superb. Even when Posadas is not a touristic city (is ok but not meant specifically as a touristic destination), this hotel made our days... More

Posadas is not a tourism destination and the hospitality sector has not been developed. That being said, Posadas Urbano is the best (and really only decent) place to stay in town. It does cater to business travelers and is a bit pricey for what you get. However, everything was in working order and the staff were friendly and mostly helpful... More
