Very comfortable and well-run hotel. Pricey, but the views and access to the falls are unbelievable. As a SPG/Delta elite, I was treated very well, including late checkout and free internet. Lobby bar is nice too. The only downer is the restaurant at dinner---the portions are ridiculously large, really obscene, but this does not make up for the total lack... More

On our 3rd visit to the falls I planned to stay at the Sheraton for two reasons: we wanted to start out when the park opens and because there are some special birds to be seen there. We were not disappointed, although the Argentinian falls currently require less time than previously (read my falls review for details). The hotel is... More

The location of this hotel by far beats the old shabby state that the hotel is in. It is old and run down, expensive, but worth it given the proximity to the falls and that it is in the park. Do not regret staying here, but wish it was a bit nicer. Food was better than i expected in the... More

Although it was 3 summers ago since I was there I still think about the hotel as well as my experience seeing the wonderful falls. It is within walking distance and allows you to be among the first to walk along the walk-ways to see the amazing views. You can hear the falls and watch the sunrise touch the falls... More

The hotel choice for my husband and I during our one night stay at Iguaza Falls was simple and was primarily based on this hotel's location to the falls. From what we read online, this hotel was the only hotel on the Argentina side actually located inside the Iguazu National Park. Also, I was drawn to the hotel based on... More

The only reason to stay at the Sheraton is for its location on the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. It's really a shame that Sheraton does not upgrade this hotel. Check-in was painful. Despite being the only guests to check in at the time, it took nearly an hour to get our rooms upgraded (SPG Preferred status) and then switched... More

Arrived at 11Am and was luckily checked in right away. Staff were nice, welcoming, courteous and spoke good English, but we had an ace up our sleeves as we had two gentlemen with us that spoke fluent Spanish which is a plus factor. As expected, rooms were comfortable and clean and met the basic needs of a traveller accustomed to... More

This hotel is in a fabulous location right in the Iguazu National Park. You can explore the falls in a leisurely manner, eat breakfast with beautiful views! The hotel was very peaceful and the pool area is very relaxing, however when we were there, there was no drink/food service by the pool. Not a huge negative because the restaurant is... More

Probably the best location to both view and explore the falls. The hotel is located on the grounds of the national park allowing you just to walk the trails to explore the falls. The views from main public rooms and the hotel rooms on the fall side are quite good as well. What would be a good hotel in other... More
