If you want to do more trails or boat ride to the falls then stay on the Argentine side. In terms of views, I feel that the Brazilian side is more scenic for photography etc. On the Argentine side you get to see the falls from far away (overview) to very close up (literally standing in front of it). The... More

We stayed here for one night and then stayed for 2 nights at the Belmond das Cataras across the river in Brazil. This was a good way to see the falls as the sides (and hotels) are quite different. The Sheraton is very much in the style of similar hotels everywhere. Its big drawcard is the views of the falls... More

We booked online and then asked a couple of questions by email before we arrived. The responses to our questions were not very helpful and as a result when we arrived at the park entrance we were a bit surprised by the requirement to pay in cash by Argentinian Pesos the entrance fee of 260 ArP per person. Once over... More

From the moment I arrived I was treated like royalty. I was greeted by the manager of the hotel. As a platinum member I've been upgraded to a beautiful falls view suite. The drinks at the pool bar were excellent, highly recommend the frozen margaritas. The restaurant food was very good, we had steak and local fish to perfection. All... More

Firstly you would stay at the hotel simply for the location. It is in the Iguazu Falls National Park which means who can visit most sites before the mass of tourists arrive. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I arrived at 8am from the airport and they did everything possible to obtain me a room ASAP. Likewise on... More

Best location for convenience, views, hotel services and the pool with a view to die for. The hotel was perfectly clean, breakfast was fantastic, they also allow you to leave your bags there once checked out and then use the facilities at the pool area, including showers etc. no free wifi in rooms, which is a bit behind the times,... 1st and foremost you come to Iguazu for the Falls and the Falls. The moment you walk into this property you are stunned by the view of the Falls right when you enter the property. And, that's will be the last time you are excited. Traveled with wife and 9yr old daughter and are Platinum SPG members, so we are... More

This is a once in a lifetime trip. Do yourself a favor and pay for a falls view room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. It's expensive, but worth it for several reasons beyond the view from the room. This hotel obviously lives by its spectacular location. They could probably still fill all the rooms even if they provided poor... More
