This hotel is in an enviable, exclusively location with a great view. Unfortunately that is both the good & the source of the bad for the quality of the hotel. It's exclusive location out illustrates the evils of monopoly. Rooms are small & gloomy. No drawers or bureau -- just a long wooden shelf that was gouged, scraped up &... More

We joined 8 of our friends at this hotel for two. Ignites prior to a South American cruise. It was well worth the effort and expense. By locating at this property we were able to spend 2 1/2 days seeing the Argentine side and the Brazil sides. We were able to take the little train to the Falls, go to... More

Hotel is renovating but didn't affect my stay in April 2014 (no noise to speak of). I stayed in room facing falls -- well worth extra to have that view (in my opinion). Try to get top floor to see best over trees. Just past baggage area is a stand to arrange private car for transport to Sheraton (70 ARS... More

Of course you stay here for the location- and it is fantastic to visit the falls before the hoards arrive. Reception staff were good and the room was ok - jungle view for us was the car park!! Food was average but the restaurant had an "airport hotel" feel to it. The pool area was nice but for us the... More

I stayed at this property with my family for a three-day break at the Iguazu Falls. When checking in I could not resist to temptation, so I upgraded myself to a Falls-view room. This came at a price, but I guess it was worth paying for it. Still, I have mixed feelings about this property. On the positive side: -... More

You're paying for the location. Walk right onto the trails. Our room had a falls view and we loved it. Other than that, it's absolutely average for a lot of money. Food is almost good, service is slow, rooms are clean but need updating.

First impressions - doorman arrived after we struggled through the two doors with our luggage so after doing the hard part we didn't hand suitcases over. Stale peanuts and crisps at bar. Dreadful food in restaurant, lights too bright, awful atmosphere. This is not a Sheraton Hotel as you know it. Once we figured this out we went on-line and... More

We spent 2 nights at the hotel. As many have mentioned rates are high and hotel/room quality is average. Two nights was enough time for us to fully explore the park and enjoy time swimming with our young children. The hotel was full one of our two nights and it never seemed too busy. Breakfast was good, dinner at the... More

The location of this hotel is perfect, especially if you have limited time in the area…..a 5 minute walk to the start of the trails. The hotel is expensive for what it is (rooms are basic and need updating....ants included), but the location makes it perfect. Breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food and was good. Taxi ride from... More
