Returned today, we stayed at Sheratons the whole way through Argentina. This was the worst of the 3. The view was great but the price is definitely for the location. The Sheraton is a delightful location as the only one on site. Very important to us to be able to come and go to the falls as we please. So the hotel looks like a communist 1970s bunker from the outside...the reason for staying here is to enjoy the excellent location within Iguazu National Park. The location of this hotel, so close to the falls, is the key to its attraction. You can hear the thunderous roar of the water and see the clouds of spray. Nothing too special about this hotel UNLESS you want a fantastic view of the falls! Spectacular! Ask for a falls view, if at all possible. We got 'upgraded' for no extra charge.
