I'm writing this review from the room. I saw other TripAdvisor reviewers receive an upgrade to falls view so I thought I would ask. No such luck. How I miss my platinum status :-((. Lol I found hotel to be one of the better Sheratons. I've stayed in the Time's Square, Casablanca, Kampala and Munich ones and they were much... More

Yes, it's expensive no way around that one. But we came to Iguazu to see the falls. We weren't interested in seeing the town. We arrived in early afternoon and were able to check into our room. The rooms were nice and roomy enough and very clean. We had the most incredible view of the falls right from our balcony!... More

We pick hotels for their location, and occasionally splurge on something more deluxe. This hotel fails on both counts. It is the only hotel inside the park on the Argentine side, but the comparable hotel on the Brazil side – the Hotel das Cataratas (see review) – is much better. First and foremost, there is no location advantage to staying... More

This is a perfectly nice hotel in a lovely location that allows you to simply step outside the hotel and walk into the park. The overall facility is somewhat timeworn, but not unexpectedly given that it's a 70's property. My sleeping room was clean, adequately furnished, and offered a nice balcony with a view of the falls...in my opinion this... More

...at least in Argentina, it is. There is also a 5 star hotel on th Brazilian side of the Falls, which does seem a Little more elegant. The hotel is modern by 1978 standards, so a little worn by now. It is nice to be able towalk to the Falls without having to get a ride .The staff is very... More

The location of this hotel is perfect for viewing the Iguazu Falls. The décor very tired and stuck in 80's time warp. Bedroom spacious and comfortable beds and lovely views. Bathroom tired. The common areas all look tired and all could do with update. Dreadful pictures on the walls and furniture looking shabby. They rest on their laurels because of... More

We went to the Iguazu Falls and stayed at Sheraton in the park on the Argentinian side. It was the only hotel in the park and its location was unbeatable. You can walk the various trails any time you want from the hotel (as far as the park is open). The view from the hotel was fantastic - you could... More
