You're paying for the location. Walk right onto the trails. Our room had a falls view and we loved it. Other than that, it's absolutely average for a lot of money. Food is almost good, service is slow, rooms are clean but need updating.

First impressions - doorman arrived after we struggled through the two doors with our luggage so after doing the hard part we didn't hand suitcases over. Stale peanuts and crisps at bar. Dreadful food in restaurant, lights too bright, awful atmosphere. This is not a Sheraton Hotel as you know it. Once we figured this out we went on-line and... More

We spent 2 nights at the hotel. As many have mentioned rates are high and hotel/room quality is average. Two nights was enough time for us to fully explore the park and enjoy time swimming with our young children. The hotel was full one of our two nights and it never seemed too busy. Breakfast was good, dinner at the... More

The location of this hotel is perfect, especially if you have limited time in the area…..a 5 minute walk to the start of the trails. The hotel is expensive for what it is (rooms are basic and need updating....ants included), but the location makes it perfect. Breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food and was good. Taxi ride from... More

We stayed in a falls view room, which was very expensive. The room was very comfortable, the bed, linen and bathroom excellent. The wifi in the room was too weak to use. The pool and gardens are lovely. The hotel was undergoing an upgrade but fortunately did not affect us even though we stayed in the room next to the... More

This hotel was certainly in the best location to enjoy the park and falls. Be prepared to pay the park entrance fee on the way to the hotel (170 pesos per person). The check-in was easy with very pleasant staff. Our room looked out toward the falls, which was enjoyable, but not necessary for the additional price. The falls are... More

Nothing like being able to sit and watch one of the eight wonders of the world while enjoying a cocktail on the balcony! As the only hotel actually located in Iguazu Falls Park, the Sheraton offers a really unique venue not only to see a bit of the Falls all day but also launch walking tours to the Falls directly... This hotel has amazing views from the balconies on the falls view side (splurge for this instead of the boring jungle view side) and you are literally a 5 minute walk from the falls themselves. That being said, the hotel is not a luxury resort that one might expect for this type of location. It's due for an update and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location is second to none and, though you pay for it, I thought it was well worth the money. To wake up to that wonderful view of the Falls is magical! Our room was fine, showing a few signs of wear but very well looked after and well... More

Yes - we caved solely on the location of the Sheraton, but it was worth every penny. Having researched the various options in/around Puerto Iguazu (AR) and Foz do Iguacu (BR), we decided the best way to see the park in less than 48 hours was to stay inside the park. Having stayed at a number of SPG properties around... More
