This hotel charges a low price in relation to what it offers: excellent restaurant, nicely decorated with lots of options, especially recommendable is the variety of fresh fish from Entre Rios' rivers. The rooms are decorated in the typical colonnial style from that part of Entre Rios, with lots of plants it has a swimming pool as well. Except for... More

I had chosen because the Lonely Planet described it as a must for anyone who decides to go and stay in Colon ... Here, we say that in this case, as in many others during this travel, the Lonely guide did not fire! I still wonder how they managed to win the Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor! Mah ..... This must be the best place to stay in Colon. It can't really be faulted (except perhaps for the stone-age pc! But, it works!) We had a superior room to the rear of the building. It's a newish extension, but the finish would have you think you were in the original building. The access to the rooms was effectively our... More

One of the oldest hostelarias in Colon, renovated with a lot of charm. The swiming pool is a must on the hot summer days, the staff where really nice. Try the restaurant aswell the food is excellent (especially the local river fish) for very reasonable prices.

We stayed here for 2 nights on the promotional rate advertised on their website of $235 pesos per night for a double ensuite room. The staff were very accommodating about our arrival just past midnight. We were very pleasantly surprised by how huge the room was, the bathroom with a real bath was the biggest and most luxurious we've had in... More

Colorful and rustic, not 100% comfortable, but worth the stay. Breakfast was good. Charming.

Hosteria del Puerto is a pretty, old building, located a minutes walk from the river on a pretty street. The rooms are colourful, with rustic wood furniture, and although a little tired, were clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a simple Argentian affair with medialunas and bread, coffee and juice. The hotel also serves dinner at night, and whilst a... More

Situated in an old Spanish style building with a lovely patio. The room itself was quite large and old fashioned. In short, it's old but nice old. There is a cozy restaurant as well which looks great but the food is nothing to write home about.

This is probably the nicest place to stay in this charming riverine town, 5 hours north of Buenos Aires. The two smarter hotels may have more comforts but they lack character. The Puerto has bags of it. It is right by the river and just a couple of blocks from the main square. Painted on the outside rose red and... More
