The quality hotel is average. Some rooms are very old and some others were renovated. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are too small. Some air conditionated are old and noisy, which is a problem to sleep well. The breakfast is acceptable. The location is very good ( one block from the central square of the city).

The common areas are beautiful. Imagine my surprise, then, when I arrive at my room and discover a dated, dirty, ragged accommodation. I actually returned to the reception desk to ask how much they were charging me, as I couldn't believe they were taking that much for the shabby room I was in. Sure enough, nearly $100.00/night. Honestly, I have... More

We greatly enjoyed the hotel and appreciated the little welcome pack of sweets, biro and map, a nice touch. The pool on the 2nd floor was a good size with a nice mural on the surrounding wall. Breakfast could have been more inventive, with so much beautiful fruit to be had, more effort to present this would have been appreciated.... More

The Hotel Covadonga offers decent accommodation at a reasonable price. The rooms are basic but quite comfortable. Each room has a minibar with an assortment of drinks and snacks. The bathroom was small and modest but it was okay. There was a leak from the base of the toilet which put me off a little, but I spent very little... More

We passed through Resistencia and Corrientes on our travels across the Chaco to Salta. The two nearby cities are worth a visit, especially Corrientes with its fine collection of older buildings. Finding online information about accommodation in either city was a bit of a challenge. Hotel Covadonga did have a website and provided an online booking service which was helpful.... More

The hotel was renewed recently. It has a nice lobby with a business center, Wi Fi and Internet for those that not have a notebook with them. Room was big for this kind of hotels in Argentina, in cities that are not often visited by tourists. The bathroom is big with fluent hot water and a very good shower. Personnel... More

We stopped here one night on our way between east and west. Room was small and dark (dark was good for sleeping) but clean. Staff very friendly. We were able to store our luggage there until our evening bus departed. Conveniently located to banks, restaurants, shopping, and central plaza. Needed a taxi to get to the bus station.

We stayed one night in Resistencia as a stop over on our way to Iguazu. We stayed at the Hotel Covadonga which is well located a few minutes walk to two good restaurants (we recommend Kebon two blocks down). The staff there is extremely friendly and accomodating, they knew we were taking a bus late in the evening and let... More
