The second dinner I had here was very good, as was the breakfast. The first was decidedly average but overall I liked the place. It's 7 km from the town so a car is useful, buses only go by about 4 times a day.

Thank you for your comments about our meals and breakfast! The distance to the village is 7 km but precisely that is why our guests come and visit us! Our hostel is located in a privileged place in the heart of the Andes, is the ideal place to rest specially after being in big cities. Staying with us you can... More

This hostel is very basic and the cheapest one in the area, but the price is high for what it is. It was 110 pesos per person for a dorm bed and the dorms are really small with hardly any room to move around or put your bags. There is no AC or fan, so we slept with the windows... More

The scenery really is spectacular. We booked a private room but switcht to another because there seem to be bedbugs. We got another room wich was better, but still with very old and not supportive matresses. They served a good breakfast for Argentinian standards. Overall I think it's overpriced for what you get. Maybe the cabins are a better option, since... More

We stayed there for one night and we had a terrible experience. The room was horrible. Cramped, no hot water and loud. It faced the road. The mattresses were very old and not supportive. The pictures on the website show an ambience totally different than what it is. One good thing: breakfast was very good. Only!

The hostel it self is really ok, not that special and a bit over priced for what the offer. Our room was small but clean and of course we had an Argentinien breakfast. It's wonderfully located between the mountains, great scenery with a small river and some horses. The guy running the place was really friendly and helpful. Nice place... More

The place sounded exotic with its location up on the Andes on the half way of the bus ride to Chile. And the surroundings were great, got some very nice pictures after half an hour walk. We stayed in a cabin instead, because all double rooms were fullybooked. There was lots of space and it would have been very nice... More

+ Good location, real outback feeling(if you don't mind the busy road to Chile in the backyard) + Great views + Indeed a very pretty creek nearby, not suitable for swimming though. + OK breakfast, bread, cereal, jams, scrambled egg. + we did the half day trekking tour, which took us up the mountains. Great view and friendly guide. +... More

The hostel was SO easy to get to because there was a bus stop right across the road from it. The staff helped us out with everything we needed and the food we got was amazing! The cemetery in Uspallata is an interesting stop and the hostel booked us a full day horse ride into the Andes. The horse ride/trek... More

We saw a flyer for this place in Mendoza which said it was 1km outside the Village, it was 7! it said it had a swimming pool, it did not. It said sit in the hot spring and look at the mountain, which are back in Mendoza! it was so expensive for a double we opted for a dorm and... More

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Hostel, which we decided to stay at due to its promotion of hikes around the area. It started off well; we arrived by bus from Mendoza in the beautiful valley where the hostel is situated. It has a campground like look, and it appears relatively well maintained. When we checked in,... More
