Our stay at Pukarainca was the lowest point in our 2-week visit to Mendoza. We strongly advise to stay away from this place and not to be misled by their deceptive website. The couple running the lodge have a very poor commitment to service and a stingy response when things go wrong (and they actually do!), particularly with their serious... More

The pictures on the website are really well made but reality is not like that, at all!! Bathroom and swimming pool dirty, owner who did not bother and refused to speak to us about our concern and liying saying over the phone he wasn't here while it was 8am and his house is next door to the hotel... Bad smell... More

1/3 of the bedroom was totally flooded by the rain. The wooden door was barely closable. The toilet had brown stains... Rooms are way overpriced. If it rains strongly (which happens a lot), you can´t access the hotel as the only road to go there is easily floodable. When I wanted to discuss these issues with the owner (Sergio), he... More

After driving all day through the beautiful Andes and visiting the amazing Aconcagua park it seemed great to spend the night in a nice isolated place with a great view instead of driving back to Mendoza. This hotel seemed like a great, peaceful and romantic place right in the middle of the Andes desert. Getting there is almost impossible without... More

We decide to go to this hotel because we were in a short visit and wanted to stay one day close to Aconcagua Park. The owner and staff are very kind, but the general impression of the hotel is that is is not very clean and also a little messy. You will find flies in the room and particularly in... More

When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised because the swimming pool was still filled with dirty water although it was nearly 30 degrees outside- a big deception for our kids. The whole outside area made a run down impression, there were no sunbeds, just some old chairs-apparently a gift of a beer brewery. As the hotel is very... More

We, 2 couples, needed at place to stay in Uspallata for 3 nights to explore the area around and mainly the mountain Aconcagua. We found Hotel Pukarainca online and it looked very nice with stylish rooms, restaurant, pool, hammocks, etc. So 3 months before we booked the rooms and were looking forward to our stay - BUT we were so... We had a great time at this hotel which is about an hour from the Aconcagua national park. The staff (owners) was very friendly, the dinner was good and the breakfast very complete. There isn't a lot to do around the hotel so it's a good place to relax before heading off on another leg of your vacation. It is... More

The Pukarainca it’s a hotel surrounded by the second line of the Cordillera de los Andes. The view is really amazing and you are able to see the pick of the Aconcagua –see the pictures attached-. If you check it out its website, you could read is the only one hotel in all Uspallata with that kind of location and... More

If you are touring in the area and are, say, not interested in staying in Uspallata proper, and if you have a motorized vehicle (and that’s key), Pukarainca Mountain Lodge is fine for a night or two. What recommends it is the absolutely spectacular view. Nothing is in particularly good repair, but I couldn’t in good conscience say things are... More
