Hostel confluencia Great hostel and the price is very reasonable. We paid $43 per night for a big room with private bathroom and breakfast included. The bathroom is in the hallway but its private. Each room has its own bathroom that you can lock with your room key. We had room #11 which was good as it was also not... More

We stayed two nights here, and we really liked it. Our bed was very comfortable, and we had a private bathroom. The kitchen was very small (only a two-burner hotplate and a microwave), but it was clean. The service was very good, even though none of the staff spoke English and my Spanish is embarrassingly bad. But they were happy... More

Great location for exploring the city. Rooms are large and clean and at this price point would not expect much more. We had a room at the back and was pretty quiet road noise could be a problem with rooms at the front. Owners are as helpful as their language skills allow - if you speak no Spanish a phrase... More

We only stayed two nights. Whilst not speaking any Spanish and the staff not speaking any English they did their utmost best to help us. We had our own bathroom but it was down the hall! But if was fine! Breakfast was average but the beds were comfortable and service great. Conveniently located too!

Stayed here a couple of days ago & whilst not terrible, had quite a different experience to some reviewers on here so may have just been unlucky. Our cons- • tired and dated bedroom e.g blind broken in our room which meant we couldn't open it for two days so room always dark • dark corridors reminiscent of a school... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was really clean and facilities are good. Staff are very friendly and helpful even if they don't speak any English. Breakfast is ok. Wifi worked in our room just.. location is quite central. However atmosphere is more like a hotel than a hostel as it isn't very social.

This was our favorite hostel during an extended trip in South America (and we stayed in a lot). While not necessary for someone looking for a party atmosphere, the rooms are large and clean, the staff is informative and friendly, and it's a perfect location to walk and explore Mendoza. I've been to Mendoza twice over the past few years... More

My friend and I had an amazing experience staying at this hostel. The location was perfect for making excursions into town, the hostel was connected to a travel agency that took us to two vineyards in Maipú for a great price, and the lodging and breakfast were definitely satisfactory. Not to mention that, when my friend got sick, the staff... More

This Hostal must have been rated by a lot of folks who normally stay in Hostels in order to achieve it's current rating. The staff are surly and not very helpful at all. The rooms are in tough shape and only marginally clean. The concept of "private" bathrooms across or in some cases way down the hall are a joke.... More

We stayed at Hostal Confluencia twice in December and again in February. The staff were very friendly and helpful and many of them speak fluent English. They helped us make bus reservations and gave us helpful hints for navigating the bus station the first time. The hostal is centrally located and within walking distance of the main Visitor Center, a... More
