The most helpful and knowledgable staff I think I've ever met. Within 20 minutes of arriving at the hotel, they had helped us book an incredible wine tasting tour, recommended a restaurant for dinner and assisted us in booking our ongoing transport. Villaggio is situated two blocks from centre of the city. Modern boutique hotel. I must disagree with a previous reviewer that x05 rooms are preferred. We spent 3 nights here as our 'home base' in Mendoza. Very convenient location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to pretty much anywhere you would want to go in town. The Villaggio Hotel is a small hotel near the Plaza Independcia, which is the center of town. Stayed for two nights after and overnight bus trip from BA. Arrived at 830AM and room was ready for us, room was very stylish and roomy. Great bathroom, our shower had great water pressure.
