I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Mendoza to be honest... The staff are helpful, breakfast is awesome! They provide good quality tours, definitely do the horse riding.. It was the best day out within argentina! Dorms are a little dirty and cramped but that's to be expected I guess. Bathrooms are a tad grotty but water is warm. Cheap stay... More

My boyfriend and I have been backpacking South America for 5 months. After being in all types of hostels, we both agree that this is one of our favorites! With reasonable prices, great atmosphere (to meet other backpackers or to relax), and a great location, we couldn't ask for more! The hostel includes a nice buffet breakfast (way more than... More

After travelling for more than five months around central and south america. I arrived to Mendoza. I came there to enjoy wine and to relax. Empedrado has the best conditions. Best breckfast ever, good staff, and free wine during happy hour. The people who works there are extremely nice and friendly. There is a girl from Poland who works during... More

Stayed at hostel Empedrado in August. I dont have anything bad to say. The staff are super helpfull and nice special mention of Claudia the crepe/omellette lady. Shes so sweet and breakfast is amazing! There is free wine between 7 and 8 which is awesome and a great way to meet fellow guests. There is a nice warm lounge common... More

Loved this place! It's what a hostel should be! Good value too. Tons of cheap/free hostel activities, including a free wine happy hour every night and a cheap empanada-making class! Grocery store right down the street and 2 well-equipped kitchens. Everything was clean and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was the highlight for sure!! Crepes and omelets!! And keep... More

Really great environment. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is unlike other hostels, very good and has lots of options. Good location. Rooms and bathroom are ok. They have dinner options that are very very very good. They offer any tour.

I normally don't stay at hostels, so keep that in mind. Mendoza brings in backpackers, wine lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts from around the world and especially Argentina during the winter. The range of options reflects this spectrum with very expensive lodging and backpacker lodging. The staff here were very friendly and super helpful. They have tours to something everyday, so... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights while visiting Mendoza. We stayed in a private double room which was spacious and clean. My only issue with the room was that the heater had to be left on at all times and it got very hot, air conditioning did not seem to work, for security reasons we didn't feel... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in this Mendoza hostel for over 2 weeks, we really enjoyed it. Here were some of the perks: - Delicious breakfast with hardboiled eggs, bread, coffee, tea, juice and a freshly made to order crepe! The ladies who made breakfast were so sweet and always give you a big smile! - Fun activities in the... More

This was by far and away the best hostel breakfast that we have had in five months travelling - bread, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, delicious pastries and a freshly cooked pancake or omelette every morning. Not an expensive hostel in the first place but added value when the breakfast is included. A nice touch was that we arrived early from... More
