We stayed here for 3 nights in August and had a great stay. The dorms are spacious with comfortable beds and huge lockers and a plug socket for each bed. Bathrooms are clean with good hot showers. Breakfast is fine, with tea/coffee, toast and cereal. There's a nice social vibe about the place, not a party place but we met... More

If you're after a party hostel, this isn't it - Hostel Lagares is the comfy-est, homey-est, cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff are super helpful - the reception people are always there to answer your questions and put on movies. The morning breakfast lady/cleaner was so lovely and accommodating. Sure it's quiet, but after you go out and... More

Stayed three nights in the hostel and it was one of my best hostel experiences ever. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Never took longer than 5 minutes to get a really helpful and honest information about tours or the city itself. The rooms are really big with enormous lockers. They make your bed every day, so when... More

I was in this hostel a few weeks ago and honestly was one of the best I have visited in years. There is nothing in particular that stands out, just everything works and everything is very well designed for passenger comfort. The attention of the staff is amazing, helped me at all. Definitely recommend and would stay again in Lagares.

We stayed here for three nights on the strength of a combination of positive trip adviser reviews and a bargain price for a double room, and can thoroughly recommend the hostel. The hostel itself is clean throughout, with good cooking and bathroom facilities. The location is within walking distance of the city centre. Above all, we found the staff to... More

This place is incredible. Very warmly welcomes on arrival and given a tour of the place. Beds are comfy, rooms spacious and bathroom cleaned and well stocked. Wifi works everywhere and they have two nice areas to sit outside and chill. Good selection of beers and soft drinks sold by the hostel. The breakfast is impressive for such a budget... More

Had great time at this hostel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools you could possibly need, rooms were clean and comfortable and the DVD collection was huge! We also took advantage of the free bike hire for the vineyards!!
