We chose this hotel because of the convienence to the ski area -- you can't beat it for closeness to the mountain. However, the room was very run down, and was not very clean. The mattresses were uncomfortable and appeared to be very old. One of the box springs was actually duct taped together and there were cigarette burns in the comforter. The walls are VERY thin and we were kept awake by a loud group in the room next door. There are no microwaves or refridgerators in the room, which is inconvienent when you have kids.

We did enjoy the buffet dinner at the restaurant -- the food and service was good, although it was overpriced for the children. In general, the hotel staff seemed either confused or uncaring when it came to answering simple questions. One desk attendent could not give me clear details on the schedule of the shutte, another attempted to charge me full price for additional lift tickets, rather than the discount price that was quoted over the phone... more
