Unfortunately we did not sleep at Chakana because we had already booked another place. But anyway we went there twice to have dinner and it was incredibly fresh and delicious: The ingredients are from the own garden or from own production (also honey and wine!) --> we had the best dinners in Argentina! The colorful houses are very inviting. The location is perfect on the outskirts of Banda Florida (just outside Villa Union). An ambience of tranquility overlooking the mountains Fatima. We stopped there on our drive from Salta to Mendoza, staying at Chakana for two nights and wished we could stay longer. It is sunny and peaceful, and Martin, the owner, who built his hotel with love and taste, is a great host and baker. He makes his morning pastries fresh from scratch every morning, before his guests are up.... More
