I went to this place on the river yesterday to recover from the noise and chaos of Buenos Aires. First of all, it's a nightmare getting there. There are hundreds of unmarked boats leaving from various docks. I was told that there was a boat every hour- this is nonsense; there were 3 boats. I spent 2 hours looking (and... More

Dear customer, We appreciate your feedback is useful certainly would be great if you PAY too. =) To other customers: We are sorry the customer apparently did not feel satisfied at and with our place. Happily most people are satisfied with our place (see other references) The big issue behind it seems to be communicational for a big part: Normally... More

We worked at Casona Del Rio for a little over 2 weeks. It was great. The owners were nice and welcoming. Also we got to work on projects that were interesting to us. The stay was great too. They offered massages on the weekend as well as free kayaking along the waterways. The rooms were nice and each one had... More

The setting is beautiful. The rooms are full of "antiques" but it feels dusty and cluttered. The bathroom was OK until the used toilet paper overflowed from the waste bin. They should empty it at least once preferably a couple of days.

Im glad so many people had a wonderful time there and wish we had. The Inn did not seem overly clean or friendly. Much of the lawn furniture was broken and couldn't be used. Would not recommend this inn.

Hola! We really enjoyed our stay at Casona del Rio. The rooms are neat and tidy and nicely decorated. The owners were welcoming and the kitchen is well equipped and the food served is delicious. My only suggestion would be that if you do not like cats and dogs then be aware that they have 2 of each and they... More

Stayed there for a 3 day break from Buenos Aires and loved it. The owners are really friendly and went out of their way to rescue us when we got stuck on the mainland at night and couldn't get back! The area is serene and chilled; perfect to relax, sunbathe, read... The owners also rent out canoes which we hired... More

Surrounded by the river, in the middle of exuberant sorts of green one finds Casona del Rio. I spent there, last year a whole week in the company of its friendly hosts, in the most relax atmosphere . Conveniently near to Buenos Aires but far away enough from it to enjoy , relaxing, eating, and perhaps some rowing. The Casona... More

It was in October 2011, we find the place by chance in the internet. We went there for 2 nights with my two kids and my wife. The place is really nice and friendly, 10 minutes from Tigre. We relaxed like being home, we jumped into the river with my kids, walk around, made an asado and canoeing. The kitchen... More
