We stayed at the Marble Canyon Lodge before and after our rafting trip. Before we had a typical hotel room which needed serious updating but was adequate. After the only room available was a two bedroom apartment which also needed updating and a thorough cleaning. Their restaurant has burned and was being rebuilt and so they had a temporary restaurant... More

We stayed here after a hike down the Paria River canyon. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, bath and shower worked. Checkin at the gas station was quick and pleasant. When we asked for an extra blanket it was delivered quickly. Our room was on the courtyard/parking lot. The trees provided shade and a nice place to sit outside... More

We were a party of 6 on a vacation centered around day hiking. There isn't much to choose from if you are in the area.We reserved an apartment/cabin with two bedrooms with two double beds each and 2 baths. The kitchen had basic utensils but if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking, I'd suggest bringing your own... More

This was the beginning point of our 6-day Colorado River rafting trip. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here, but being what it is and where it is located, it's a decent option. Check in is at the gas station next door. Don't expect a smile with your service and don't expect any speed with the service.... More

Me and my wife visited the lodge on are way to the Grand Canyon. We found the rooms clean and nice looking if you would like 1980 deco but there was no COFFEE facilities unless you go to the restaurant........... The restaurant was old and looked liked a school cafeteria but the food was ok.... and came quite quickly. The... More

stayed here because cliff dwellers was booked. Admittedly the restaurant burned down and now it's in a small room behind the gas station, but the rooms we had were very small and dated, with questionable showers.

The staff here are always friendly and down to earth. It's not the Ritz, but it's very charming and rustic. Close to the gas station and shop. Short walk to Navajo Bridge to walk across the Grand (Marble) Canyon. We always stay here before setting out on Grand Canyon river trips.

Marble Canyon lodge is great. A lovely place to stay. But be aware the Lodge itself burned down in June 2013. They are due to start rebuilding in May 2014, but there is no wifi, the gift shop is now in the service station, and the meal service is still good, but a little restricted in menu. Good luck to... Comfy beds in a funky little room that was clean but needs plenty of TLC. It was less expensive than the other place we stayed at down the road and had WAY better beds, even though the room wasn't as nice. We had a great view of the cliffs in the back of our own little patio area. It was... More

If you are looking for a nice place to stay as you drive up the Vermillion Highway (Hwy 89A), I would recommend the Marble Canyon Lodge. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The surroundings are amazing and the Navajo Bridge is a short walk away. The pedestrian bridge goes over the Colorado. Also, the drive down to Lee's... More
