We were in Mar del Plata at New Years and stayed for 2 nights. It's the sister hotel to the main NH hotel, so it looks/feels the same, without the extravagant lobby. Location is perfect, right on the beach with a nice plaza just behind.

The NH Hotel Casino is inside the big historic Casino building and as such the hotel rooms are also "historic" rooms. They are completely refurbished, very nice! I stayed here 4 nights.

The avenue that its located has an Havana Café and a restaurant called Flor de Ouro that are very good.
Near rua Rivadavia to shop.
Easy to take cabs.
View: depends the room that you choose.
Room: beds are great, large cabinet, digital safe, great bathroom and hair dryer.
Staff: very kind.
Breakfast: simple...
