Our recent two day, two night stay at La Isolina was among the wonderful highlights of our trip to Argentina. Maria and Jorge Louge are warm and generous hosts, the 90 year plus home is elegant and comfortable and the food was plentiful (four meals a day!) and delicious. We stayed at La Isolina for four days. While the drive over from BSAS is a little lengthy (around four hours) it's a beautiful drive and takes you way out the the rural, isolated Isolina. A few days of relax at Estancia La Isolina are a wonderful experience. The property and surrounding area are just what we expected...quiet, full of cattle, cacking birds, and beautiful grasslands. We came in pursuit of relaxation and horse back riding, as well as some fine Argentine cuisine.
