Two words: BED BUGS! Apparently the management knows about it but they refuse to do something to fix the problem; the staff is instructed to lie about it, too. Location is central and good if you're into touristy stuff, but I'd highly advise you to look for another place that's less ugly and not inhabited by BED BUGS!

Obelisco Hostel has the best location in town. It is really close to metro stations, restaurants, parcs and historical monuments. Otherwise, the bathrooms are small and not really clean. The beds were a bit discusting : old sheets, old mattress, not confortable. But the breakfast were among the best we have eaten during the trip.

I think Hostel Suites Obelisco is a great hostel on a magnificent location. It's located on one of the busiest streets of Buenos Aires, so you'll feel very safe at night. Furthermore, the service is excellent: all you gotta do is ask. There are kitchens and bathrooms everywhere, so you can always make some food or take a shower without... More

Really good, clean and nice vibes hostel.Pretty big but still managed to meet so many people. Breakfast is great , kitchens are typical for backpackers or students ... great for preparing basic food. Very central, close to underground, theaters, supermarkets ... spot on !

This hostel is right on the main avenue of the city. The price for a private room was also reasonable. The breakfast is basic but that is standard for all of Argentina. The obelisk is walkable from here as is Florida street if you need to exchange money. There are metro station near the hostel which is good if you... More

I stayed in the suite which felt far from being in a hostel but even better than some 3 start hotels I have stayed in before. Housekeepers were very friendly and always asked me if I need anymore towels etc. Reception staff were exceptional too One thing I did not appreciate because it feels out of place were the families... Really good hostel, with nice people working there. They gave me a lot of good advices on what to do, where to buy cheap food. I booked a room in the women "dormitorio", I recommend it, safe and clean. Don't forget your locker to storage your bag during visit.

Stayed here for one night upon arrival in BA. The hostel is secure with 2 locked gates, it's an older building with a cool old elevator and several floors of rooms. There is a sitting area big enough for everyone and a little balcony that can't be sit on though. It's right on Avenida Corrientes, a big shopping street and... More

The Hostel Suites Obelisco is a nice place to stay for few days, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is simple but good and the localization is great. There is a wifi free zone, but only in the reception floor, not in the rooms.

Staff were super friendly and welcomed us quickly into the place. There is a great social scene at all hostels in Buenos Aires so they quickly connected us to the upcoming parties. We were quite comfortable in this hostel during our stay. A very close walk to the Obelisco which is good for sightseeing and also as a navigational guide.
